My husband is going to kill me but I just ordered a bunch of $4.99 tshirts off of Disney.com. Got the kids some cute ones, and also got all 5 of us matching Disney shirts. He hates stuff like that but I think it's fun and the kids really enjoy it. He always says "what's wrong with the clothes we already own? Why by more?

Of course I had to order him a grumpy Tshirt - what else?????

We bought some 4.99 and 2.99 tees too! DD and I will match, DS and DH will not. We will probably have a VT t-shirt day, but that's probably about it. I do like it because I think it looks good in pictures and it helps me remember what the kids are wearing if we were to get separated.

My DH hates this too, but on our last trip I scored hawaiian print dresses for DD and I and shirts for DH and DS at the DS for less that $30 for all. Since we were there around Halloween, I told him it would be our "costume" - tacky tourists. He still didn't like it, but he wore his shirt. We got a lot of fun comments when we wore them to GF for dinner @ 1900 Park Faire. He actually loves that shirt now and it was worn very well. DD and DS have outgrown theirs.

Disney is the only place I have ever tried to do this.

Honestly, I've been looking at Disney apparel for my DD for our upcoming trip in December. I always dress her pretty cute & want to do the same when we go. She even has a smocked Cinderella dress for our dinner at 1900 Park Fair!

Although I agree-my DH would KILL me if I made him wear a Disney shirt. He won't even wear a polo w/ Mickey embroidered on it! :headache:

Good luck!

Lol, you sound like me. I love dressing everyone in matching clothes!

We are going to Disney with extended family as a Grand Gathering in May. Our entire group (11 of us) is planning on having matching shirts several days of the vacation. One is the turquoise Disney logo shirt from the Disney Store - the others will be custom ones from the DISign board here.

Also the Disney Store has been having so many good sales lately, that I bought way more clothes than I should have. My kids will have new Disney clothes for each day of our vacation. My oldest daughter asked me to please not buy her anything else "Disney" ..... she said that by the time our vacation is over, that her whole wardrobe will be Disney. Now what is wrong with that? :confused3 lol

I even ordered my two youngest personalized Mickey & Minnie Mouse backpacks to use for their carry-on for the plane. I just need to stay away from the Disney Store because I am getting to carried away.

My hubby has been a really good sport about it. I ordered him Grumpy & Mickey t-shirts, and Gumpy & Mickey Polo shirts. He actually really liked them - which surprised me.

He did give me this "I don't think so" look when he saw our matching Mickey Mouse t-shirts for the 4th of July, but he was a good sport when it came time to wear them to the Tracy Byrd concert/firework show. :)

Nah...DD has a bunch of Disney shirts and that's about it.DH would rather have his fingernails puilled off with pliers than wear a disney shirt, and I don't like crew necks (they make me look like no neck)...can never find nice vnecks or scoopnecks in adult sizes.I did have a nightmare before xmas tshirt made for MNSSHP but that is it.

I did buy my kids some shirts, and made DD some dresses.

I also made DD, DS and myself those mickey swirl tie-dye shirts. I asked DH if he wanted one and he kept saying, "It's ok.. I know you have a lot to do.. don't worry about me." I knew this was code for "I wouldn't be caught dead in that."

So, the 3 of us wore them to AK one day. On our way out a CM stopped us and asked my DH where his matching shirt was. He looks at the CM, smiled and said, "She wouldnt' make me one". :headache:

Guess I better get to work on his for this August. :rotfl:

Does everyone's husband have a grumpy shirt? hahahaha Mine has 2!! We also try to "coordinate" at Disney- the pictures always look so good!!

Our Disney trips are usually in May-right in the middle of spring and boardering the summer weather months so I use that as an excuse to buy all new clothes. Most of our girls clothes from the last year don't fit all that much and I just want more new clothes. I usually start shopping for vacation sometime at the end of Feb and the begining March. Last year we ordered t-shirts of our fave Disney characters and they also sported our names on them; our two girls shirts also sported their birth order too on the back. This year there was 4 girls(Me, BFF, DD#1 and DD#2) so we all wore Hannah Montana shirts and we made Daddy wear a Jonas Brothers T-shirt. He wasn't all that excited about wearing his shirt. HAHAHA

I myself have approximately 32 Disney t-shirts, football jerseys, and one pair of shorts and I wear them all the time in and out of WDW and every time we go I end up finding a new shirt to buy. As far as the rest of my family they do to my mom, dad, and baby sister all dress up for WDW in Disney shirts so thats a yes from us :thumbsup2

Besides Princess dresses for the Princess dinners, not really. I do want to buy some Disney tees for them though.

I'm doing the match thing this trip.
1) makes it easy to do laundry on the trip, as limited color issues.
2) my highly mobile DS will be easier to track, and heaven forbid if he gets lost we'll know in a snap what we are looking for.
3) It just plain looks like fun! We would never "match" in any other setting, but it seems ok at WDW.

Now, if I can just find some matching Hawaiian shirts that are not fortune....

Count me in for my DH having a grumpy shirt! haha.

We dont dress too matchy, but we usually always have some kind of Disney shirt on :)

We LOVE dressing alike. DH, DD and I have a matching outfit for each day we visit. Disney.com and the Disney store have really cute matching clothes if you want more than a t-shirt too. My daughter and I even dress alike a most of the time on other vacations and a lot of times at home. Everyone always comments on how nice we look. So my DH doesn't mind matching at Disney because he gets to be part of the fun. Although, he does still wear his "grumpy" hat :-)

DH has Disney tees and so does DS, but they don't match. I usually wear tank tops so it's hard to find things that match, plus DH wouldn't do that anyway. He's not into the 'matching' thing:lmao: Maybe when DS gets older the two of them can find something that matches, if I can persuade DH.:rotfl:

Well i guess my dh is easy because the man will wear whatever i pack for him. As long as it's not pink, rainbow, or crocs he'll where it!

With that said i went bananas this time around with the disney clothes and matchy matchy stuff. Practically everything my kids are wearing at disney will be "disney" stuff. I took advantage of all the disney store "spotlights" sales, the online clearances, and sales.

AS for the whole family we have one set that are black tees and the character on them are bright yellow, pink, green, etc. Mine is pooh, dd's is tink, ds's is mickey, and dh's is mickey too.

Then for everyone but my dh i bought a red tee with a class mickey on it. I would have gotten one for my dh but they didn't have it in adult male.

I plan to dress my family with Disney gear on our next trip! We might have different color tees, but same DISign that I get off the forum here, or I have purchased the 4.99 tees also - I like having theme days, but not exactly matching - like Pirates day or Cars day (I have two boys) -

I have not purchased a Grumpy shirt yet for my hubby , so I think maybe we'll have a Snow White day too! lol :rotfl2:

I just think it's fun, easy packing, don't have to think "What am I going to wear today" and easy remembering what everyone else has on just in case I need to remember!

I dressed my 3 little ones in matching leftover sports program shirts (with 5 kids, we have over 100, I'm guessing), with different colors for different days. I left them behind, for more room in the luggage!

Our whole family (DH, me, DD13, & DS10) wears matching Disney tees & matching shorts on each day of our WDW trips. We've got over a dozen different sets of matching Disney tees. We always wear black, navy, or tan shorts (depending on which shirts we're wearing) with them.

We check-in on Sunday for a 10 nights stay...tomorrow I'm going to start packing our suitcases!!:dance3:

ROFL!! :rotfl2:

You better make him one for next time!! MEN!

My DH is a really good sport, its my DS17 who refuses to participate! On the day we all wore our tie-dyed mickey heads he wore one but NOT one with a mickey head...his little way of rebelling. Then it ended up raining and we didn't even get a family pic in them! :confused3
