I haven't watched tv in three days! I just programed it to record my shows and figure I will get around to watching them eventually LOL. I also recorded Bear in the Big Blue House and the Wiggles (they came on before 7am *gasp*) and have been playing them over and over for Holly (she LOVES these shows and is totally enraptured by them). I have listened to the "Fruit Salad" song so much since we got home today that I am still singing the words! I think I have found the answer to life LOL!!

I don't know how we have survived this long without TiVo. Of course, its mostly filled with Blues Clues, Stanley, Franklin and a bunch of other shows for Matt. I do have it set up for a season pass of Seinfeld though for me

TiVo is great for a person such as me who watches very little. Just set it to catch the few you want, and watch when you have the time. Very neat indeed.

I love my DVR!!!

I don't know how I lived without it! I love to go back and catch things I missed - my DH always asked - what did he say and now we jsut go back!

I also have all my kids favorite shows taped and now I never have to tell her Dora or JoJo isn't on!!!

But if I have to watch the epsiode of Full House at WDW one more time I might scream!!! My husband is sick of me pointing out how ridiculous it would be for them to everything they did before the parade at 3:00 in MK!!!

I just got mine about 2 weeks ago as well (first time cable FINALLY offered one), and I absolutely love it!! It's not as good as TiVo (not as many options -- my friends have TiVo), but it's still great.

Same here! It's very rare that we watch live TV anymore. Some prime time stuff, we do watch almost live - we intentionally start watching late so we can skip all the commercials

We do the same thing. It really changes the way you watch TV. No more channel surfing. There's always something recorded that I actually want to see.

Love TIVO!!!! Never watch any thing in "real time" anymore. Although, I can't help but wonder how spoiled my kids are.

I'm getting this hooked up on Thursday and I can't wait! I know I'm gonna love it, but truthfully I don't know all the ins and outs. How does it work? Can you tape only one show at a time? Can you tape a show but watch another one and still be able to pause and stuff?

I just got mine hooked up on Fri, so I am not sure about all the ways it works, but I do know you can record something like 40 hours of tv, even if ten shows are on at the same time. It also had the picture in picture display, and this nifty help channel that explains how it works. I honestly do not know how I survived without this thing LOL!

I would love to get one! I've gotten in the habit of turning on TLC's Baby Story in the mornings when I'm getting ready for work, and I keep being late because I have to stick around to make sure the baby is born ok!

I have had my TiVo for a year and I don't know how I ever managed without it! We added an extra hard drive to ours and we can record over 100 hours of programming. It's sooo cool!

I don't know how I had survived before without mine! We record Sesame Street and a couple other shows for Megan. My DH works nights, so we have so many shows recorded that we have yet to watch. But I love it, and couldn't live without it! We have Replay TV in one room, and TIVO through our cable box in the other. We have shows recorded on both of course!
