Does ANYONE believe Iran?

We should be doing whatever we can to get those soldiers back for Britain and we should be trying to help in any capacity considering they went into this stupid fabricated war with us! You help you friends out no matter what!

Why?

Great Britain is a sovereign nation. Playing superhero to the rest of the world is what got us into this stupid fabricated war in the first place.

Who knows what the US is doing behind the scenes? I don't think there are any known CIA agents on the Dis. I totally agree that we should help, if and when it is needed.

We are very close to a war with Iran as well as the action in Iraq. I don't think the English soldiers were in Iranian waters however, I also don't think we should be baited into another war sooner than absolutely necessary.

They aren't US soldiers. Why SHOULD we be involved? They are British and I think their country and their Prime Minsiter ARE trying to secure their release.

I'm absolutly serious. They are not Americans there for I don't think a public response from GWB or an action by the American military is needed. I'm ALL for helping but I don't think we need to be involved in another nations issues without a direct request from that nation.

I wonder if Blair might not have diplomatically said to Bush to sit down and shut up, and let us handle this. Some people say that if this had happened to US sailors we'd have been bombing already. Someone has to do some clear thinking somewhere.

They aren't americans. My bad! I'm sensitive as my best friends husband was just killed in Iraq this last week...so my bad. I apologize for reading something more into it.

As for us getting involved I don't know how we could make it any worse... I mean the whole Middle East for the most part *the big players* hate us no matter what and I'm not sure Britain isn't right behind us for supporting us!

I can't understand why, if the UK destroyer had them in their sight and the British sailors were safe, that the destroyer didn't "destroy" them. President Reagan sunk their navy when they mined the waters. Taking sailors is an act of war.

I do not believe Iran. I did think it was somewhat possible they were telling the truth, but the GPI evidence the MSM has is pretty compelling. I don't know how the Brits plan to handle this, but I hope they can count on the US to stand with them.
