ps.....DONT ask for parmesean cheese for your Fettuccine Alfredo.

Any particular reason why? I had some on mine, and it was good. Gave it a little extra flavor (as if it really needed it! :rotfl: ). Now I'm worried I ate something that was bad and I didn't know it... :rotfl2:

Our waiter brought some out for the spaghetti my dad ordered, but then he asked if my mom & I (we both got the fettuccine alfredo) wanted some as well. Good thing we got him as a waiter and not what sounds like the Cheese Police. I like my cheese, darn it! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

GOOD. It sounds like they lightened up a bit...or Did all us cheesy Americanos wear them down? ;)

Probably the latter. Many restaurants have had to come to grips with the fact that many Americans don't enjoy their culinary artistry, and instead prefer to drown everything in salt or cheese or ketchup. :rotfl:

What a shame! :confused3 The McDonalding of Culinary superiority!

Given how much of a cloud hangs over our country these days, it isn't surprising that people are sacrificing fine dining for comfort dining. Maybe in a few years we'll return to a time of general safety and prosperity, like the mid-1990s, and culinary artistry will ascend again, at WDW's restaurants.

We do! We've never had a bad meal there and we will be going back to Alfredo's in 2 weeks.

We went to Allfredo's about 5 years ago and hated it. Food & service were just terrible. My wife and myself were at WDW last December and we thought we would try Alfredos again since it had been so long since our last visit. We loved it, the food and service were outstanding. We will be doing the Candlelight Dinner Package there this comming December.

My DH and I love Alfredo's. It is a must do every trip and we go twice on our long trips. The Fettucini Alfredo is excellent. In fact, the last time my DH and I went to NYC, we dined at Alfredo's there too.

DH loves Italian food. Well, he loves Olive Garden and Carrabba's which I am sure isn't real Italian food. :) His favorite food actually is Fettuccine which I understand is the specialty. So who actually like Alfredo's? Good choice for a couple? Better at lunch or dinner or does it matter? I have heard some very bad reviews and wouldn't want to waste our money as we are not on the dining plan.

Thanks!
We think the food is very good, but the service is not. We've dined there for both lunch and dinner on several occasions.

My DBf is a big Italian Food fan. He loved eating here. I am not a big fan of Italian food but will eat it. I liked Olive Garden better where my DBF likes Alfredos better.

Will they give kids portions of the adult meals? My niece and nephew would much prefer fetucci alfredo or penne w/ vodka sauce (without the shrimp) than anything on their kids menu as posted here and on allears.

No, sorry. You may want to consider ordering them one meal, to share.

muy dh is itialian and he loved it
i thought the service stunk and it was loud
i liked my app and my wine
i will go there again and give it another try

This is just a thought I'm having as I recall some of our recent disney dining experiences. First, I loved Alfredo's when we ate there several years ago with dear friends. We had a great time with them and I truly don't remember anything about our actual meal except the "World's Largest Garlic Crouton" being listed somewhere on the menu. :rotfl2:

Several recent dining experiences of ours have been less than stellar, but when I stop and really think about it, the reason they were poor may have had more to do with our kids being crabby or being hot and tired and at the end of a long day and therefore feeling like our meal wasn't great, when in actuality the food was fine, but our dispositions were not. When I think back to every great meal we've had, usually it was because the food was at least good, but the company we were with and our kids behavior were all great too. Anyone else think that their dining experiences might be shaded by your particular situation/mood when you ate at a certain place or am I just crazy? :p
