We will be arriving Wed before thanksgiving and would like some help/advice on the parks. It wil be DH, myself, and DS (age 5) staying at WL. we will use the boat for MK,but can use our car for other parks, if needed.

So far we have:

-EE on thurs at MK (thanksgiving) and do lunch at LTT or break and come back for dinner at LTT (what do you think?)

-fri- Epcot-opening do FW and at 11am head right over to WS (mexico) and work around the WS-just planning on snacking around right now.

sat- EE at MGM. Question: on EE days is the show schedule different or do you have to wait around until 10 for most of the attractions? We can switch Epcot and MGM... should we do DS's birthday dinner this night? Where?

sun- Ds's 6th b day. We are leaving, but maybe thinking about a character breakfast????

We also want to eat at Artist Point and send DS to Cub's den .

Help!!!!

We stayed in Thanksgiving last year, it was crowded.
EE sounds good for Thanksgiving but I would have a nice dinner instead of a big lunch.
Ecpot opens at 9 am so maybe just walk slow and see the front part before going to WS for snacks. On EE days they have some of the rides open for everyone not all of them. Still nice to be first on those rides.
Character breasfast wonderful they are fun.
For your DS birthday let him pick which park he would like to be in then get a ps there might be fun.
Have a wonderful time.

MK is extremely crowded on Thanksgiving Day. Many times it is closed by 11 am, meaning the parking lot is FULL so you can imagine how many folks are there. If you go on Thursday, plan to be there on time for EE and then plan to leave when it gets crowded (before lunch)!

Dinner is better than lunch at LTT, because the characters come for dinner only. Chip, Dale, Goofy and Minnie are wonderful.

We usually go to Epcot on Thanksgiving. It has very small crowds and you can do a lot. We hit MK on Wednesday, but if you won't be there till Thursday, you might want to save it for Friday.

Only some attractions are open for EE, usually the most popular ones. You can find a list for each park at wdwig.com. Most of the shows do start later (at the same times they would on non-EE days).

A character breakfast would be great on Sunday morning. We find it a good ending to our trip.
