Does AAA have a place in MK to rest?

They sure do, but it's only for AAA members who have booked a vacation package through them. Unless you know of some kind soul who didn't use their pass and will give it to you.

As to where it is, it's in Tomorrowland, but I'm not certain exactly WHERE in Tomorrowland it is.

The AAA Lounge is beside Tony's - if you're facing the restaurant the lounge is to the right. It's kind of tucked away but there is a sign if you know the general area to look. We were told at our AAA office that we could use the lounge anytime, but need the voucher (which we got w/ our pkg) to get the free drinks - but you might want to check and see if you get the same info.

There is an AAA lounge, so to speak, in MK but as previously mentioned, it can be accessed only if you booked your trip through AAA and have a voucher issued by them. It is different from the AAA travel office on Main Street. The AAA lounge is in Tomorrowland, between CoP and the Galaxy theater. There's a path between those two places with a AAA sign on the gate. Just go on down the path and sort of behind CoP. The AAA attendant will ask for your voucher, which entitles you to admission plus a free soda. They have very nice rest rooms and a lounge with TV's playing Disney movies and tons of AAA travel info. You can hang out there more or less as long as you want, but you can only go once per trip.

OK, so I's not as informed as I'd thought...
So what's beside Tony's? There IS an AAA sign there (or at least was in Aug.). Not to sound too stupid, but isn't Exposition Hall on the other side of the square, by the restrooms - so that's not the AAA sign I saw?

Nope Exposition Hall is on the same side as Tony's. CITY Hall is across from Tony's.

Exposition Hall houses all the photography stuff (you know - at the end of the day when you want to pick up those pricey photos the Main Street photographers so graciously take). City Hall houses Guest Relations.

So yes, you DID see a AAA sign by Tony's, and what's by that AAA sign is, for the most part, a AAA branch. They provide all AAA travel services (Trip Tiks, guide books, etc.) and can sell AAA memberships to non-members.

As a previous poster said, it is only once per trip.

No matter how many people are booked in the package, you only get one voucher good for one day. If you decide to go to the lounge when only half of your party is with you, the other half lose out on going to the lounge.
