Do your shoes and purse match?

They do not match and I have been assured by What Not to Wear that it is no longer necessary to have it match (coordinate maybe--but match identically--no).

you could make one out of old tennis shoes if you wanted. probably woulnd't get the best reaction on account of the smell though...

I hate seeing someone carrying a brown purse and wearing black shoes. It's not really a good look.

Are you talking about every day trips to the grocery store or Walmart ? Or in more "social" settings?

I honestly couldn't see anyone caring about my purse and shoes. I certainly could care less about their's.

I own one purse (and it is falling apart) and most of the time I am in tennis shoes.

no, i have one humungus shoulder bag with pockets galore which goes everywhere with me at all times. it has everything i could need at all times. it is black so it goes with mist things. have a dainty one for special occasions.

If you watch "What Not to Wear" they never match the shoes and purse.

I try to buy an everyday purse with black and brown so that is kind of goes with anything.

Yep, "Project Runway" said the same thing. Being so "matchy-matchy" is way out, now-a-days. Thank goodness, I wouldn't get all the matching right even if it was still "in."

I also just carry a black purse-style backpack that goes with everything.
