I have blue eyes, but I'd like to enhance them. DH says they are blue enough, but I work with a girl who has the most amazing blue contacts! They are so beautiful, but not too fake looking. I was thinking of buying a pair myself, just for fun and for special occasions.

Do you wear colored contacts, and if so, what color? Do you wear them all the time?

I'm a natural brown-eyed girl but I wear green contacts (Rx). I switch back and forth between the brown, blue & green. depends on the time of year. Halloween is the best! I have a pair of "wild eyes" They are Red. Freaks everyone out!!

I luv them.

curly  the brown eyed, green eyed blue eyed girl!

I've seen (online) some of those crazy contacts, eight-balls, all white, too creepy, but kind of neat at the same time!

I have brown eyes, but for a while back in high school I had blue contacts, prescription. And they were really bright blue! In one picture, you could see the blue contacts, plus the brown of my iris, plus the black of my pupil, plus the red in the middle that often happens in photos!

I had my annual eye exam today and ordered a pair of trial Ocean Blue Accuvue contacts. He recommended a trial pair because he said they don't look the same on everyone, and I may not like them! He also agreed with my DH and said my eyes were blue enough.

We'll see, literally! :p

I have had Light green(sea green?) Aqua, and sky blue. I liked the aqua on me the best. I got to do "blanks" of color to see which color i wanted.

Blondie, it's for fun, why not. Your hubby said just the right thing though. :)

Yeah, I guess I'll keep him around for a little longer! ;)

I have hazel (brown/green) eyes that change colors-so my colored contacts look different on me every time!
I have a pair in blue and a pair in green...they were Freshlooks carribean aqua (green) and blue. I loved the way they looked, but they got dirty really easy. I'm going to try Acuvue next, because I usually wear them (uncolored).
If your doctor will let you, try on as many pairs as you can...something that doesn't sound good may look great, and something that looks good on someone else might look bad on you! Try before you buy!

I used to wear them. But I have to confess, I have 20/20 vision and it was purely a vanity thing. I have very true, green eyes and I got a dark blue (which turned my eyes kinda grey, go figure) which I did not like and a turquoise which made my eyes the most beautiful blue-green ocean color I have seen - I loved it! But they were a pain to put in and take out and since I didn't really need them so see, I stopped wearing them. If I needed them to see, I would definately keep wearing colors, it is fun, why not?!:D

I agree; when I ordered my blue contacts, I'd only seen them in pictures, obviously on other people's eyes, and when I got them they were MUCH brighter than I thought they'd be! I still wore them for a while anyway though.

My eyes are such an odd shade of bluish grey that the blue contacts do absolutely nothing for them, I might as well be wearing clear. I tried the green and the aqua, but they looked so fake..No one has eyes that color! I want to try the light golden brown ones, but will probably stick to the clear...I get compliments on my eye color all the time.
