I almost always wear mine when I'm out of the house but usually take it off at home. It's gold.

We have platinum bands. I never wear mine - I wore it about a week and tossed it in the jewelry box. Just not a fan of rings.

Husband wears his 24 hours a day

I am not a big jewelry buff but I do wear my rings 24/7.
Engagement ring, wedding and anniversary band all on the same finger.

DH also wears a band 24/7

I always wear mine. My wedding band is plain yellow gold. My engagement ring is also yellow gold with a good sized sapphire (around .75 carats, I think) in the middle of two smaller diamonds (about .25 carats).

It looks similar to this one, but my sapphire is oval shaped and the ring is yellow gold:

I wear mine 24/7. In fact, I had worn it from before the time my son was born until a few days after he turned 16yo. I eventually had the ring cut off my finger and resized. (Who knew that gold rings shrink :rotfl2: )

I was lost for the three weeks that the jeweler insist that I not wear the ring. I guess he thought the "groove" would go away. It didn't. I got the ring resized and it's been on my finger ever since.

ours are yellow gold that we had custom done- here they are from the goldsmith's website (our actual rings)

Since that picture I did have my engagement ring diamond bezel set into the ring. Our anniversary is Thursday! :bride: :groom: I never take mine off and neither does DH. I don't know why he doesn't, but I just feel lost without it. As I do without the ring I wear on my right hand.

Mine is tricolor braided gold. The day my DH took me shopping to see what kind of engagement ring he was going to get, he described what he wanted as a wedding band.

The first jeweler we walked into had exactly what he'd described. We bought our wedding bands before I'd even tried on a diamond!

(and I got exactly what I told him I wanted before he made me try on 2 dozen rings!)

My wedding band was made to fit my engagement ring, which isn't a "customary" engagement ring. I've cracked the sapphire, so I don't wear the set often anymore. Instead I wear my anniversary band with a thin gold wedding band that DH gave me for Mothers Day this year, because I needed something slightly tighter as the anniversay band is about 1/4 size too loose, and I was afraid I'd lose it. All are yellow gold, as is another ring that DH gave me for Valentines Day a few years ago that I usually wear on my right ring finger.

I waited too long for that particular piece of bling! Of course I wear it 24/7!!;) :rotfl:

I vote platnium, but my wedding band is all diamonds, channel set in platmiun. My original band, was similiar (only half way around), ut the diamonds kept cracking, so after 8 years I got sick or always replacing the diamonds.

I answered "yellow gold" because that's our official set we exchanged on our wedding day. They're not plain, but have a raised design on them. No engagement ring, though I do have an anniversary band that I wear with the wedding ring.

We also have two other sets. One is a heavy silver band engraved in Mayan motifs that we got in Mexico about 15 years ago, and the other is a silver and gold hand made band that we bought in Colorado a few years ago. For our 20th anniversary (Jan 2009) I would like to get a band that has the wedding date in Roman numerals -- you may have seen the ads for it, it's by Christian something-or-other.

We just need to make sure that we're wearing matching bands when we leave the house in the morning

I have one, its yellow gold, I don't wear it around the house but if I go out I always wear it. Hubby only wears his to go out as well, but not to work. He can't wear it to work because it could be damaged or it could get caught in a machine and well that would just be bad.

I always wear mine. I have a platinum band for a wedding ring. DH has the same style ring, only wider band and in yellow gold. He wears his 24/7 as well.

Mine's platinum and I don't wear it at home or when I'm going to work with the horses, but other than that I wear it all the time.

I put mine on the nightstand a couple Saturdays ago before bed, and when I woke up it was gone. My one cat likes to play with random metal objects (like paperclips, hooks, etc) so I wonder if she got ahold of it and put it somewhere. I want it back!!! :sad1:

It looked similar to this one, with a larger inlay and more contrast between the silver and the white gold. The main part of the ring is titanium.
