Do you wear a fanny pack to the parks?

  • Fanny packs are a fashion sin!

  • I don't mind them but don't wear them.

  • I never have but will be fanny packin' my next stroll up Main Street!

  • My fanny never enters WDW unpacked.

  • I have my fanny pack on right now.

Nope I make sure I have enough pockets, with room for a chapstick, and plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (good thing i have a tiny camera)

As an aussie i can say that that is a fair representation, most Aussies would say that a fanny was a eh hem :confused3 womans front bottom shall we say :rolleyes1 . and to pack it, well i 'll leave you to your own conclusions on that one... lol :rotfl2:

actually my DW will not think of entering a WDW park without her fanny pack. although i always wear a great pair of cargo shorts with multiple pockets she insists on taking her fanny pack with her. she feels more relaxed with her essentials right in front of her. this makes sense because even though i can carry anything she wants me to i often leave her for a bit while i ride more intense rides with DS#2.

in all of our years of marriage i have never seen her wear a fanny pack out of WDW.

I didn't take my fanny pack last trip - big mistake! It was my first trip pushing my mom around in her wheelchair and for some reason, I thought I would be better off with my Save the Back bag...nope, kept getting twisted around and was hard to keep pushing her and adjusting the bag over my shoulder. This year, back to the fanny!

I need some type of bag, but handbags and shoulder bags are totally out of the question. I dont load up the little fanny pack I use just for themeparking - but it has the essentials I need (including insulin and a makeshift icepack to keep it cool). I do wear it loose, like a gun holster around my shorts, and flop my shirt loose, but over the unsightly 'imma mom from the 80's' fanny pack.

The way I see it, as long as your not wearing spandex bike shorts, belly-t, and sun-visor with your fanny pack --- your okay at disney :rotfl: .

Do they sell fanny packs in any of the parks or resorts?

I am definately a 'fanny packer wearer' only in the parks.
I would love to wear a Disney one and not my old Las Vegas one.

Call me naive, but I need you to PM me (please!) and tell me what you are talking about. I know what you are alluding to but I need to know the phrase. I won't be offended, I promise. I have GOT to know because my DH frequently rolls on the floor when I talk because I have said a phrase that has a double meaning and I have NO IDEA! When we get home, he tells me exactly what I said by accident. Of course, I always do this in public when I'm leading a meeting, etc., and while I accuse him of THINKING dirty, I really have become paranoid. Anyway, now I am worried that I will embarrass myself when I talk about my fanny pack (not that it comes up a lot, but you know what I mean) :teeth:
