April or late June - which one?

April-just avoid the first week since that’s Easter week. Better weather, Flower and Garden Festival.

If you don't mind the heat, then June. It's probably less expensive than April. But the weather is much better in April.

Late June is mid-summer when you can sweat standing still outside at midnight. April can have warm days even close to 90 degrees, but humidity is not at the summer level and evenings tend to be pleasant. Crowd-wise in April, you might want to avoid the week before and of Easter, but the rest of April has manageable crowds, usually less than late June.

Compare the April bands to June.

April will likely be busier than June at the parks but there is something about visiting WDW during gorgeous weather. It’s a different experience. To me that is peak WDW. Hard to beat.

When in April? Normally I’d say April over June hands down. But if it’s the weeks around Easter? No way, go in June!

A lot of schools in the Northeast have school vacation starting the second and third weeks in April. Everyone goes to Disney!

I second Mle8308, school vacations Northeast schools are in April, so a lot of kids will be down there. I did a quick check and confirmed that Barnstable Public Schools in Barnstable, MA, where I live, has their school vacation the week of April 20th. I also did a quick check found that Orlando Public school's vacation is the first week of April. So that's is something to consider. We went in June of '23 and loved it. Yes it was hot, but if you go into that vacation knowing that then you can plan for it. Just a thought.

I’ve been during that time and as long as it they don’t coincide with Easter week, they don’t make enough of a dent in crowds to merit being avoided. Parks won’t be quiet but they won’t be Xmas/Easter slammed.

I've never been in April, so this is good to know. I heard that the week between Christmas and New Years is absolute chaos.

I was there one year for that week and it was pretty busy, busier than I like it. Won't do it again. And it did not coincide with Easter. However, the weather was pretty darn great! If you buy LL it would be doable.

I have found June to be too rainy, although that may have just been our bad luck. ;) It’s hot and humid too, but no surprises there.

We loved late April. The weather was glorious (luck of the draw, I know) and the crowds were not bad except on the weekend at Epcot (for the Garden Festival). Easter is early April this year, so late April should be fine in that regard. Early May is nice too.
