Do you watch or listen to a program that upsets you?

If so, why?

Why not just watch or listen to something different?

I remember a quote from Howard Stern's Private Parts.
It was something like

The people that like Stern listen to hear what he is going to do next. The people that don't like Stern listen to hear what he is going to do next.

I watch Bill O'Reilly but I can't stand him. I watch because I want to see his guests and hear what they have to say. If they could tape Bill's mouth shut it would be a better show, IMHO :)

I do -- we have a local talk radio station. The guy in the afternoon is a real butt. My DH abhors him -- I can't stop listening to him though -- it's like my version of crack I guess. It's like I listen just to get mad. :confused3

I discovered a cure for my addiction this week -- another local radio station just turned to Fox talk radio and Sean Hannity is on at the same time -- so now I've been flopping between the 2 stations.

Yes and No. I get upset about humanitarian issues - but I will still watch documentaries about them. However if we are talking about Stern/O'Reilly/Olberman stuff - then no. I don't have the energy to be that angry all the time.

More intersting is the fact that people who hate Stern listened to him longer than those who like him. I am an unabashed Stern lover (and there are still times I will change the channel). I bought Sirius because of him.

I'm pretty much the same.

No I don't.....

In fact....i can't even watch a law and order that involves abused kids.

Absolutely NOT! I don't waste my time doing things I don't like ~ how stupid is that!

btw ~ I am a Stern listener ~ have been for nearly 20 years. And at times I would turn it off if I didn't like a segment.

I've watched Bush's State of the Union addresses even though I think he's a terrible president. I feel I owe it to him to hear what he has to say.

I'm home sick and I'm a 38 year old woman watching My Super Sweet 16 - these girls are horrible - but it's like a train wreck - I can't turn away!

Jenny:)

I do that too -- last weekend it was Parental Control -- I think to myself "self, what the heck are your doing"
