So I read on the boards that if you get that white film on your glasses and dishes to try lemi shine in your dishwasher.
So I used it a few times and it work great BUT it seems it took the paint off one of our Disney mugs. :guilty:
It was my husbands Mine Mine Mine mug. I'm hoping they still sell them in the parks, but I'm bummed that the lemi shine does that.

Has anyone else had any issues?

:scared1: not yet but I will stop using it! How much of the LemiShine were you using and which form?

Oh, and "not mine!" ;)

I use it and have not had that happen. I've washed numerous different cups/mugs with pictures and/or writing on them.

Yes, I have had them take the paint off of 2 of my Christmas glasses.:guilty:

You have to be careful not to overuse.

I had that same coffee mug and loved it. All the paint came off it from the dishwasher, too, and I don't use lemi-shine. (never heard of it!) I think it is a problem with that particular mug. :(

We've had that mug for a couple years and never had an issue with the paint until I started using the lemi shine. Should I not be using it with every cycle?

I have just been putting a little of the powder (maybe a teaspoon?) on top of the regular dish soap in the dispenser. I know the bottle says to use it only but dang, that stuff is way to expensive for that!
