Do you think we will like the Sci Fi Dine In?

Why is lunch better than dinner at Sci-Fi? I just booked an early dinner for our Sept. trip. If you can still get burgers and shakes at dinner if you ask, what makes the lunch better?

We have never eaten here so I would like to find out if there is something I don't know about. I think I can still get lunch ADR's for that day if I need to switch.

You may not be allowed to get burgers at dinner. Shakes are on both the lunch and the dinner menu.

The lunch menu is better than the dinner menu.

If you are using the DDP and you want to eat at Sci-fi, it would be wiser for you to eat lunch and pay out of pocket rather than use a TS credit for dinner.

The dinner menu is not very good in my opinion and depending on what server you get, he/she may not allow you to order from the lunch menu.

Even if you can order off the lunch menu for dinner, you don't want to use a TS credit to do so.

We are going for the first time this August but we number 5. Can five sit in one car? I tried to view the pictures but it was kind of hard to tell. Sorry - not trying to go off topic.

I know a lot of people don't like Sci-Fi, but I really enjoyed it. As long as you are going with the expectation of an "okay" meal with a great, fun atmosphere, I think you'll be alright.

I have always been able to order a burger for dinner no problem and have seen many others on disboards report the same. Of course, nothing is written in stone! I agree, the dinner menu isn't a vast array of options so check it out on www.allearsnet.com If nothing appeals and you think you want a burger or one of the sandwiches (the reuben is really good), switch to lunch to be safe.

If anyone does get a server who won't allow them to order a burger, ask for a manager. Believe me they aim to please and probably won't make a stink to keep you from getting your burger.

We scheduled a late lunch (2:30). I think it will be good to get out of the August heat for a bit.
