I have just such a hard time wrapping my mind around a Billionaire who thinks he can trust 11 different cocktail waitress/hostess/actors to keep a secret about their affairs with him...and now the first one, Rachel U is all upset according to TMZ because she needs to get tested for STD's because she didn't use protection with him and heard his other ladies didn't either. Stupidity all around.

That's why karma is in full effect. You can't mess with it or it will mess with you. Don't mess with invisible forces.

Our society used to protect the guilty in cases like this. Reporters kept quite about affairs. We did not talk about these type of things. ...

The reason that the press didn't use to jump on these things is because they used to concentrate on the 'news'.

Some rich athlete cheating on his wife is not news.
A random high speed chase in another part of the country isn't news.

These and other events currently being reported by so-called news organizations are not news. They are sensationalist shlock that is only being reported on to drive up ratings, not because society has any need at all to know this information.

The other day, our local news station cut away to a reporter standing right outside their offices so she could tell us that it would get colder LATER in the day. This was 'news' that the weather guy had told us thirty seconds prior.

Again, I believe Forbes accounting is more reliable than Tigers word right now. Of course he stated he isn't a Billionaire. He has 10 HUGE reasons or is that 11? I can see how this may be a conflict of interest for him right now.

Only Tiger and maybe his accountants know what he is worth.

When you say someone is a billionaire, you are saying that they have a net worth of a billion dollars. I didn't need to say 'net worth' when I stated that he wasn't a billionaire because in order to be a billionaire, you must have a net worth of a billion dollars. Mr. Woods is very, very rich, but he isn't a billionaire (according to Forbes).

Apparently, they have been asking stars on the red carpet, at events, etc, what they feel about Tiger...the quote below is from Ray J, a rapper, I think (he's the younger brother of singer Brandy):

“Let Tiger Woods be a man. Sometimes you're a man and you have a bad night. Let that man be a man,” Ray J. told Tarts in defense of the controversial athlete at the Famous Stars & Straps Party in conjunction with the release of Snoop’s new album “Malice in Wonderland” in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

So....apparently to Mr Ray J, "being a man" entitles you to having a "bad night". Hmmm.....okee dokee.

I think there is a bit of that going on MAKmom -- essentially our tabloid culture has given the public this impression that when public figures do something wrong that that makes it fair game to take one's own frustrations out on the public figure for a month or two -- of course without much regard whatsoever to the impact on two children of seeing such value-less activity directed at their father.

And that's still the most important thing: Attacking Woods does nothing constructive, does nothing positive, serves no noble purpose, achieves no remediation nor justice. The most significant impact is that it potentially harms his children. I'm sure the media is proud of that type of achievement.

Perhaps he should have thought of that before he started sleeping aorund.

The indefensible behavior is that of the man who cheated on his wife in the first place.

The rest is his own personal affair unless it's breaking the law, in which case the law will handle it.

If Tiger's children are harmed, they are harmed by their father's behavior which put them into a position of being harmed. You are looking at the effect. I am looking at the cause.

Unfortunately, most 10 year old boys are unable to make the distinction between "role model only for golf" vs. "role model for life". To whom much is given, much is expected. Tiger has been given much...talent, perseverance, parents who pushed him to excel, and a lot of luck. The fall from the top is long, especially when it is of one's own doing....

I can never understand why some people feel that an athlete who is superior at hitting a little white ball or one that breaks world records in swim competition is their idol (role model) and they feel so damaged when issues of morality come into play.

a lot of men are only as faithful as their options. and he had a LOT OF OPTIONS. There are a LOT of rich men who do this, but he was stupid and got caught like an idiot. Heck for the amount of money that guy has he could cheat on me all he wanted, just give me an open checkbook ! haha j/k of course, especially with kids involved, if you are gonna have a family you should have gotten that out of your system BEFORE getting hitched and having kids. Lord knows he had plenty of time when he was younger...
