Do you think this is a strange place for a clock

in the bathroom?

My husband wants to be able to see it when he is on the toilet; this wall is the same as the sink so you can see it while getting ready.

The second picture is the wall opposite the toilet.

(Please don't take his post too seriously, just want opinions)

We have a small digital alarm clock on the vanity for the sink. My hubby too wants to know what time it is anywhere in the house, lol..I don't t think yours is in a strange place

I don't have one in any of our bathrooms. Don't see a need for it.
I wear a watch and DH usually takes his phone into the bathroom if getting ready for a time crunch happening

But, like others have said, your house do what you want

We have two in our bathroom.

I've a small alarm clock beside my sink (double sinks on opposite walls). If getting ready to go somewhere, I watch it to be sure I'm not taking too much time on the grooming.

DH has an atomic clock on the wall beside his sink for a similar reason--so he doesn't fall behind getting ready for work.

Anyone who likes to read while on the toilet may have a clock in the bathroom. Way too easy to get caught up in what you're reading and still sitting without needing to remain seated. ;)

Obviously, I don't think it weird at all. :)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a clock in a bathroom. Does your husband have issues and has to make sure he doesn’t sit too long? If so I’d put the clock where he can see it better. Definitely not over the toilet. But whatever, your house.

When we remodeled we put clocks over the doors of both main bathrooms where they are visible from the entire bathroom including the shower and toilet. Water and watches aren't a good combination so I don't wear my watch in the bathroom. Our third bathroom is really just a powder room, no clock in that bathroom'

I do think the placement is a little odd, but not the idea of having a clock in the bathroom. We have one very similar to yours in our bathroom - I like knowing what time it is when I am getting ready in the mornings.

Other than the clock on the microwave and oven, we have no clocks in the house.

Everyone just uses their phone to know the time or to set an alarm.
This. I’ve never seen a clock in a bathroom before. Never needed one.

Not everyone wants to bring their phone in the bathroom with them. We have a clock in the bathroom, but I think the placement right above the toilet tank is odd. I would probably move the planter slightly closer to the frame, and put the clock above it so all 3 items were in a group.

I never bring my phone in. No clocks either.
What is that you’re all timing in there that you need phones and clocks for?

I've nearly been late to work or appointments because I don't like to rush getting dressed. I'm a dawdler, I suppose you'd say.

If I didn't watch the time carefully while getting fixed up to go out with DH, he'd have divorced me years ago. He's very punctual. If we make a reservation, he'd get there 15 minutes early. I have to watch the clock and get moving to be certain of arriving on time.

I follow the same routine every morning to get ready for work and build in extra 15 minutes. I don’t wear much makeup. I do check time on phone to know it’s time to leave breakfast table to finish getting ready.

I don’t “fix myself up” to go out with husband. I guess I’m just low maintenance.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a clock in a bathroom.
