Do you think this is a good deal?

I booked Pop about 3 months ago with a pin I got in an email. I have called to see if the new codes will get me a better deal but they are never available for when I call. I read here about people not giving up and calling back and something is suddenly available. Here's the thing, do you think I am calling in vain because maybe the new codes are not any better than what I already have or should I keep checking? Here is what I have:

Pop Century 12/9-12/16, 2008
2 adults and 2 kids over 9, so basically costs is 4 adults
6 day base ticket (no hopper, or water)
Basic dining plan for our 7 nights
No insurance
Cost $2,508

Is this a good deal?

not sure if those dates were excluded from the new code offer. I believe the 2nd week of Dec may have been excluded. However, i called first thing on the day the codes were released and there was none left for POP so we had to switch to the All Stars.

Pop Warner week is Dec. 7-13, 2008 this year so those dates were excluded from the new codes that just came out. On another thread someone said it was also Mousefest during that week. If there is anyway you can change your dates to the week before or the week after you might be able to save some more. I booked my October trip using a PIN code I got in March. The new codes saved me another $100 and I upgraded to a preferred room.

I actually was having trouble getting 12/6-12/10. I had an AP rate or CBR but that was the only resort I could get. I have been trying to get something with the fall MYW package (I can't remember the code-booked online under special offers).
Anyway finally got something last night after trying since the package came out. I got CSR same nights and am paying just $400.00 more byut am getting 2 10 day MYW base tickets. So that's like $100.00 cheaper since the 2 tickets cost $505.00.
So moral of my story. Keep trying for your dates.

Thanks disneyvacalover. I do not think these dates are excluded, I think there is very limited availability. I will keep trying. Glad you found a deal!
