yes,they chose all star movies...because we were at akl otherwise they wanted to go to por...like i said i do not expect them to upgrade for free...I will pay the upgrade...I just dont want them stuck over there having to ride the bus...now that i think about it why is it such a strech to hope for a upgrade when people get ugraded to club level sometimes for free and I am willing to pay? I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to get a very understanding cm on the phone....if all else fails and they just wont do it i will ask for the gf and give the car to my parents.

The difference is when Disney upgrades someone to club level for free, there is a reason they are doing it and it is Disney's reason.

You can certainly ask and they might do it, and let you pay the difference. But the situations are not the same.

When are you in Sept. If later than Sept 1 you might not be moved.

Instead of wondering what is going to happen and asking people on here that really can't answer the question why don't you call AKL and get it all straight before wlking in to an unknown?

your right...and I did, the lady i spoke with said I could be moved where I wanted as long as there is a room AND she does not see why I cant get a 2 bedroom if it is aval. she is checking to see how we can change my parents resort and get the money put on to the other room IF they have one.....they were very helpful.good luck to everyone else

That sounds very promising! Would they apply the value of a studio or 1BR toward the 2BR? I hope they come back with some good news for you .

I hope everything has worked out for you. I think you (and everyone else being forced to move) should get exactly what makes your trip more magical. I think it is terrible that you are being switched at all. Personally I would never take SSR to AKL but for your family situation it may be a nice option for you since you drive your car everywhere anyways. Also I thought they were changing people to SSR AND giving some money back. What about applying that refund money and your parent ressie money to either a two bedroom or two studios if the two bedrooms aren't available.
