Do you think it would be fun to visit all parks in one day

on our last day. One last trip to each park - would go by cab if had to.

We ususally go for 5-7 days and on our last day we just wonder around hitting only our must do favorite rides, or anything we missed on our last day. We do hit all four parks that day, using disney transportation. We usually start with animal kingdom first (safari must do) and do which ever parks closes latest last. this seems to make a nice ending for our vacation, kindof like saying good by to each park till next time.

We always use the last day of our trip to visit all of our favorites in each park one last time. We too start out with the Safari and Dinosaur at AK and then move to whichever park opens earliest. One year, we managed to hit 3 parks before our 10:30 PS for the Cape May character breakfast! It is always a great way to say "goodbye" until next time :D We always use Disney transportation and have never had a problem squeezing everything in.

Seems like our little plan is a popular one!

Our last day we always start out at AK for the safari, and which ever park is opened latest, that will be our last stop. We like to go back and ride our personal favorites one or two more times. We try to get every minute out of it we can. We have actually had six different "entrys" on one of our last days. DH lost his camera lens cap and we had to back track! On our going home day we always have a character breakfast at the Poly. You can take the Mono or a boat. You still feel as if you have "been to Disney" that day. Wonderful way to say "Until next time".

Managed to do that on the last day on our last trip... started at AK and ended the night with fireworks at MK and spectro. Even had time for a very nice dinner at the YC Steakhouse :D It didn't help to have an early flight out the next morning.

We have only done 3 in one day - our last day in Sept. We bypassed AK and did the DVC tour instead (and BOUGHT), started out in MK, late lunch at EPCOT, ended up at MGM for Fantasmic. DH begged to do the Great Movie Ride (his fave) one last time so I said "okay - but I'm not going on it again" and the ride broke down and he was stuck in there for about 45 minutes - just before Fantasmic. We made it, but ended up all the way on the left side of the theater. It was still great, but I was ready to kill him!

We did three parks in one day and had a blast. MK early entry, then over to Epcot at noon, took the boat to MGM, when MGM closed we went back to Epcot. The kids were running out of MGM yelling, let's go Illuminations, we don't need to sleep. There was an elderly couple in front of us cracking up, they literally dragged us along. Our neighbors did all 4 parks on their last day. They were staying offsite and wanted to get their money's worth.

We've done that sort of thing before, and we always use Disney Transportation. Sometimes instead of taking a park to park bus, we'll take a resort bus and catch another bus for the next leg at whatever resort we wind up at. It's a nice way to visit some different resorts too.

Last April I was at WDW for a conference and my 17 year old DD was with me. We only had one day to spend in the theme parks and we wanted to hit our favorites at each park. We caught a bus from CBR to MGM and were there for the opening. After riding TOT and RRC 3 times each we caught a bus to AK. From there we went to MK by bus. Had to catch monorail at TTC. Spent the afternoon at MK and went to Epcot for dinner. It was fun but boy were we tired!!!!

Sorry to be the sole discontent on this subject :)

But I really cannot imagine doing this. Two parks, possibly, but three or even four, to me just sounds like a colossal waste of time. I cannot even think about the amount of time it would take just getting from one park to another, plus getting into the park, getting to the rides you want to go on, etc. When we go, some of the parks hours are 9:00 - 6:00, of course with World Showcase being open later.

Good luck to those of you that would chose to do this. Maybe the difference is that we go every other year and always know that we will be back to see everything again. I suppose if this is a first trip or a once-in-a-lifetime trip, you would want to cram everything in. But the best advice I ever read in a Disney travel book, is really to plan well, and then take your time while in the parks. How many families do we all see right around 3:00, where the kids are either crying or yelling, and a parent is obviously irritated and just want to get to the next attraction. No one is having fun in that scenario. So we take time to notice little things and get an ice cream cone whenever we want, or just sit on a bench and people watch. I know my kids, and they would not have a good time, if we were to go from one park to another to another and maybe yet to another all in one day.

Again, this is just my personal opinion :jester:

kel, I have to agree with you. It sounds exhausting to me. But it looks like we're in the minority. I say, if you can do it and enjoy it, go for it. :D

I've done three parks on the last day twice and plan to do all 4 this year. The only reason we haven't done all 4 in the past is both times our last day was Gay Day at MK and it is packed that day. We usuallly go to WDW every other year and it actually is a fun way to spend uour last day. I get a bit weepy though leaving the last park on our last day. The week just seems to fly by.

I have actually done this, but I went during the SLOW season.....Feb!;) I had NO problem riding what I wanted to ride, no lines, and I did it ALL before 4:00pm!;) I started out at 7:30am, for Early Entry! Got to all 4 parks, went to the hotel at 4:30, rested till 6:30 and went on to Pleasure Island, so YES it can be done!;)

kel, I definitely agree with you. Going to 4 parks in one day is not what I would recommend especially not with young children. I wouldn't even do it with my DH. My DD, age 17, and I are very active. She plays sports and I run/walk almost every day. Since we go to WDW at least once every year and last year we had only one day to spend in the theme parks, we decided we wanted to do something different for our girls only trip. It was fun and it was a great memory, right up there with the years we used to close MK at 1:00 a.m. when DH and DS had to go back to the resort by 10 p.m. to get their rest. But, it is not something we would want to do every time.

I do have to say that the transportation worked great though. Our longest commute was from AK to MK because we had to switch from bus to monorail at the TTC and it was only about 30 minutes. Of course, we didn't have to wait for any busses either.

I usually hit each of the parks on the 4th of July:eek: on a seek and conquer LE pin mission usually getting back before 10AM completely burned out and missing the soles on my feet. DW says it was good exercise.:rolleyes:LOL Hate to say it, but in the future E-bay is looking better and better. :)
