Do you think Disney will help me out?

Long story short.....
I rented points from a friend. In order to use all his left over points I booked 1 day in a Studio and 3 days in a one bedroom at SSR. Then decided to stay an additional 3 nights - so rented more points from someone else in a Studio.

They are not in any order: Studio for 1 - 1broom for 3 - studio for 3.

I am beginning to panic now as I will be traveling with my almost 2 dd. She's not very good at sleeping in strange places and having to deal with 3 rooms could be an issue. In the end....I know the choice I made.

I would be willing to pay extra to change all to a one bedroom for the week - but can't through the people I rented points from because they have none left.

Do you think I would be able to do this once I check in? Thank in advance.

Unfortunately, there's no way for Disney to let you pay to upgrade to a 1BR for the whole stay.

The problem is - you didn't make a reservation with Disney. You made a reservation with some individuals. If you had made a reservation with Disney, you could have done lots of things to make it better. Unfortunately, you didn't reserve with Disney and you are stuck with your reservations. Sorry.

There is no way to pay for the upgrade but the front desk may be able to make the move a little less stressful. Explain your reservations to them when you check in. Hopefully your move will be from a studio to a 1 bedroom and back in the same building.

Enjoy your trip!::MickeyMo

It wouldn't hurt to ask. The most they can say is 'no.' I wouldn't worry about your dd. There is so much going on and so much to take in, the little ones usually get too tired to be able to fight sleep for any reason. I took my dd just after she turned two and we didn't have a problem. She was often asleep before her head hit the bed.

DVC will not upgrade a reservation made on points, even for the cash difference. There are a few ways to approach this. You could change your reservations with points for the number of nights they can handle for a 1 BR then do the rest with cash. You'll likely lose a few points this way, and pay a premium for the cash portion, but could reach your goal. There are some transfer possibilities but I doubt most members would be willing to take much risk in that area for this situation. If it were I, here's what I'd do. I'd talk to your friend and see if by chance he has enough points, even with borrowing, to change the one night to a 1 BR. Offer to pay the going rate, $10-12 per point. If not, ask if he plans to do any transfers, if not, he might be willing to accept the additional points in transfer to make the additional night reservation for the 1 BR (make sure there's availability on points first). Once you've done what you can do there, talk to the other person you are renting from. See if they'll be willing, and if there's availability, to change to a 1 BR for what they have. Maybe they have enough to get you 2 nights but not 3. Also if they'd be able and willing to transfer the points if applicable. Other options would be to consider a different resort that is cheaper such as BWV standard view or OKW, change the points reservation so you only do weeknights on points and do cash for the Fri & Sat nights, or you could potentially change to a studio the entire time.
