Do you take your shoes off?

We take flip flops off because we do not want to drop them. I noticed every time we ride, people are walking around and looking for their shoes.

But at least with the great pine, orange & fresh ocean water smell-it should cover a few stinky feet!:goodvibes

I can hear it now. People saying they will never ride soarin again since they added the smell of the workers to the orange grove shot. Sweaty Oranges??

I took off my Sneakers last year because my feet hurt sooo bad. It was awesome. I plan on taking my sneaks off each time I ride it now.

I have bad plantar fasciitis and one of the worst things to do if you have it is to sit with your feet dangling! Especially with heavy shoes. The first time I rode it (wearing Keens), I couldn't walk for two hours afterwards. Since then I take my shoes off and also try to hold my feet flexed (except for the part where you're over the water).

NO WAY. I worry they'll disappear by some sneaky CM! :rotfl:

The thought of removing my shoes and I'm sure sweaty socks for others to see/smell is not a pleasant idea!

Can you imagine the stinky feet smell in those little rooms from the people wearing sweaty socks on super hot days? Yuck.

Have you ever smelled a teenage boy's sneakers?

His feet stunk so bad I thought I was going to pass out.
when i read stuff like this i always think about the poor TSA agents at the airport.:scared1: oh, and BTW.........they make sneaker tamer inserts that work quite well:flower3:

not a real big market for damp used sneaks.:rotfl2: that would be like......................... the fence, psssssssssst come over here watta ya got??????????..............the thief,i got some used sneakers........the fence, i can always count on you for first class stuff.....

I take my flip flops off, so I don't drop them while I'm swinging my feet. Sneakers stay on though, too much trouble.

I do but only when I'm wearing flip flops b/c they would fall off. I would never take my sneakers off and have never actually thought about it before now. I don't see that it would be worth the bother.

With all of this talk I may have to give it a try next visit but only if it is early enough in the day not to stink my neighbors out.

I take my flip flops off (and occassionally sandals). Taking my sneakers off is too much work.

I like feet though, so I have no problem with seeing feet.

Only if I'm wearing flip-flops, and I think I've only worn rode Soarin' one time with my shoes off just because I was afraid my loose-fitting ballet flats would fall off during take-off! LOL

I always ride barefoot and I have noticed the water effect.

There is no "water effect" in Soarin'.

I don't know what you're feeling, but it ain't SUPPOSED to be there. :scared1:

:goodvibes

Yuck!

:scared1::scared1::scared1:

Sounds like this would fit better in the current thread HERE named-

"Smells in the World?"
Ah come on now. If you're wearing flip-flops or crocs, there isn't going to be any stinky feet smell.

Unless you are on the bottom row, that is plain nasty. I don't want some strangers smelly feet hanging over my head.
So..you would rather have my crocs hit you on their way down??

That's hard to believe....you end up exactly where you started from. Why in heaven's name are people 'looking' for their shoes?? They should be right under their feet when they return.

The CMs will tell you to take off any footwear that is in danger of slipping off...crocs, flip-flops, that kind of thing. But, I can't imagine removing my sneakers just to feel that 'air' rushing past my now naked tootsies. That would not make my neighbors very happy, now would it??

When you are Soarin' over that river, with the kayakers...it almost feels like you can dip your toes in...same thing with the surf at sunset. Ahhhhh.
