Do you style your hair & wear make-up while on your WDW vacation?

I do not style my hair while at WDW - I whash it every day as it is so hot and all I do is splash some leave on conditioner and mouse to keep it curly. Make a ponytail and I am good to go!!! :yay:

For makeup, just a color suncreen and blush, with some lipgloss. Waterproof mascara for me is a must!!!

I find that the suncreen with a touch of color will not be as messy aas foundation and will let your skin breathe, as well as protect it from the sun!! I use the Avene one that comes like a compact powder.

Hope this helps!!!!!

I keep the same routine. Short curly hair pulled back in a headband or tied into a very small bun and chapstick. It literally takes me two minutes at either DW or home. I only where make up on special occassions!

I always pull my hair back in a pony tail to keep it off my neck in the heat. I do my usual makeup, but it only takes me about 5 minutes. I live in florida and it sweats back off anyway. I just dont' like going with no makeup because I always look horrible in pics.

I get ready as I normally do at home. I speed my routine up but I still want to look nice when I go out!!

My hair is really long so it is up in a pony tail. Usually with a visor or baseball cap with my pony tail hanging out the back. In Nov I did wear powder, lipgloss, mascara and blush. I highly doubt I will do anything except chapstick when we go back in July (unless I have an issue that needs to be hidden lol).

I can't beleive how many people wear ONLY lipstick and nothing on there eyes. To me, lipstick is fancy. I only wear it when I go somewhere nice. I always weear eye makeup or you wouldn't even know I have any. :scared1:

I have long hair, so I usually put it in a pony tail, or through the back of my baseball cap. I do have to blow it dry in the morning though. :hippie:

I have to wear moisturizer with SPF, concealer, mascara, and lip gloss. princess:

I can't enjoy myself if I'm uncomfortable with the way I look so that means full make-up and hair fixed. I look horrible in a ponytail so I usually fix my hair in a sort of up-do with a comb clip. My total time to get ready in the mornings is around 2 hours but then I can relax and enjoy my day knowing I look my best. :)

I have what I not so affectionately term "Humidity head" which means it's super curly with a tendency to frizz. I use a nice gel and get a good cut before we go so that I can have wash and wear hair. ( I do at home too)
My makeup routine on a usual day is brown eyeliner that matches my lashes (cause I wear THICK glasses) a light colored lip gloss (will switch to lip stick if I'm going somewhere special) some powder to get rid of shine and a sweep of blush, honest, less than 5 minutes to get ready. At Dinsey, I almost instantly have a sunburn, so no powder or blush needed (I'm going to shine anyway and I have a "natural" glow) so it's just eyeliner and lipgloss. Guess I'm pretty easy to get ready!

Exactly how I feel!!! I do all my normal "getting ready for the day" stuff with make up and fixed hair. I want to look decent not only for pictures but because I feel better when I do. I usually bring a hair band and my baseball hat because the hair will go up in a ponytail as the day gets hotter.

Hi!

Sign me up for the frizz club! No way can I blow dry ... it would be ruined as soon as I stepped out of the door. Wash, gel, and headband or ponytail depending on length.

My makeup is fairly minimal ... always eyes, though! Mascara, liner & moisturizer/sunscreen. 5 mins. tops!

I'm the same as everyone else, minimal, but something. Mousse in the hair, bare minerals make up, a little lipgloss, and off. I also have longer/curly hair, like a lot of people here. I've never had luck with gel.. any suggestions?

I pretty much always wear makeup, even to the gym, lol. I do foundation, concelaer under my eyes, blush, neutral eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. BUT, it doesn't take me more than 5 minutes. I also always wear lipstick, which I keep in my purse. If I don't wear it my lips feel really dry, so I never forget.

As for my hair, I try to stick with cuts that I can let air dry. I have longish hair and it's thick, so for me that means long layers. On vacation I'll bring a ponytail holder to use later in the day of it gets too hot.

Hair blown dry and down at the beginning of the day and then in a pony tail and nooooo make-up, but I only rarely wear make up at home.

There is something liberating about not doing full makeup and hair each morning. That is part of the joy of vacation for me. In fact, I feel worse when I know my makeup is running down my face. I like being able to splash cold water on my face and not looking like a raccoon. ;)

I fix up baby, hair spray and all!! I'd wear a slinky black dress if I could get away with it. The only family pictures I get and certainly the only pics of me are the ones from the photopass at disney. i don't want posterity to see me bed head, wrinkles, and freckles!!!

If i didn't I might scare Mickey back into the mouse hole and ruin in for the kids you know.............

For me disney usually means pony tails, twists, maybe a french braid if I feel up to it, not common. As far as makeup goes, I always use waterproof sunblock. I don't think that stuff mixes well with powder mineral foundation. So ... No, makeup is not even a consideration for me. :sad2:

I always put my hair in a ponytail. It takes me 30 mins. to blow dry my hair when I'm at home. In the florida heat it would just frizz up so what's the point! Make up is a little eye pencil, lip gloss and sunscreen. In the evening hair is the same, a little more make up and some jewelery and i'm good to go:cool1: . I can't see spending an hour to get ready in the am, just to sweat it off in the parks.

I hardly wear make up at home! We like to be at the parks at opening and that involves getting three kids out of the room early so for me it's just a pony tail and maybe lipstick. Luckily I wear sunglasses all the time so no one sees my unmade up eyes! The only time I really wear make up at all on vacation is on the plane ride down and the night DH and I go out to dinner while the kids go to the Neverland club.

All natural girl here. No make up, no blow drying. Just wash and go. I do still shave on vacation though especially at Disney where I will be swimming and wearing shorts.
