Do you style your hair & wear make-up while on your WDW vacation?

Thank you for all of your post. I am enjoying reading them all. I use a little make-up and style my hair a little @ WDW, but not like I do at home. Everyone here seems to love the Bare Minerals make-up. Where do you find it? Thank you again for all of your post!
:thumbsup2

I'm a wash and go kind of hair gal normally so I don't do anything different at WDW unless it is a special occasion. Make-up - same thing now that I'm a SAHM I usually just put some mascara and a tinted lip balm on and I'm good to go.

I'm pretty no fuss. My hair is a little shorter now than in my sig picture. I still just gel and go. For make-up, I use a sunless tanner or tinted sunscreen, lipgloss and mascara and eyebrows. (My lashes and brows are blonde. They are invisible without some attention.) I try to be ready in about 5 minutes. You can see the average WDW result below.

I have the same routine on vacation as at home: wash-n-go short hair, moisturizer w/ SPF and mascara every day unless I'm too ill to get out of bed! LOL, and Bare Minerals makeup. Done in 10 minutes or less. I don't like to look or feel like I have a mask on but I do like to feel put together, kwim? (As for where to get Bare Minerals- QVC or Sephora and watch the video clips on how to apply it. :) )

Hair-wash, gel, blow dry and spray
Make up-Dr. Denese SPF 30 Defense Day Cream (tinted moisturizer)
Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm
Great Lash Waterproof Mascara

I'm done. LET'S GO!!!!

Shampoo. Blow dry because my hair takes forever to dry otherwise. Pull hair back in barrette. Sunscreen on face and any other exposed skin. All-day lipstick or clear Blistex with SPF - either one to protect lips from sun. Go enjoy the parks.

I don't wear a lot of makeup at home unless I'm going out (I work at home) and I can't see how makeup melting down my face in the heat would look better than no makeup. :)

I do enough so I won't scare anybody, plus I like to re-apply sunscreen to my face. You really can't do that if you have blush, etc. on your face. I usually put my hair up in a ponytail and a baseball hat.

Well, I have curly hair and Florida weather is very humid, so I don't spend much time on the style because I just end up with an unruly mop of frizz no matter what I try. I do put on make up though.

I have never done my hair to go to a theme park- ponytail all the way. One trip on splash mt or mission space would render my hard work pointless. I get the impression that the primpers either don't do thrill rides or use an awful lot of hairspray. I generally don't wear make-up to the parks either, but maybe since I have the Bare Minerals make-up I may try it once, if my toddler is asleep or with the grandparents. If I am going to go to the trouble of putting on foundation, I would also put on eye make-up and lipstick though. I only do my hair and make-up for nice meals, Pleasure Island or other non-park outings. DH prefers me without make-up anyway, go figure.

BTW We still laugh about the woman we saw in stilettos (and shorts) at the MK one day a couple years ago . I can't imagine my poor feet by the end of the day. I understand wanting to look your best, since personally I would never wear crocs, but that seems a trifle extreme.

My routine is mAke up first. That is max 10 minutes I do full foundation, blush powder to keep oil away and light mascara and lip gloss. My hair is very short. It is straight but very thick no blow drying unless I want it to take 1 hour don't think so for some reson I can't style my hair if I blow dry it. It gets frizzy. I towel dry comb to side spike up the back and sides. Leaving bangs swept to side 15 minutes. Yes lots of hair spray. Have to make sure my hard works stays. Total with shower 40 minutes. If I take a bath the night before just skip morning shower. Total is 25 to 30 minutes.

P.s. I do do this routine in Florida sometimes nomake up.

I ride all the thrill rides with the exception of Splash Mountain or any other ride involving water (water is death to my hair-do). And you are right - the key is hairspray - lots of it. I can get off RNRC or Space Mountain and my hair looks exactly the same as it did getting on. My Disney hair could probably survive a nuclear blast right along with the cockroaches. :rotfl2:

are you kidding me? I have to put makeup on or they may mistake me for one of props in the Haunted Mansion!!!:goodvibes

I do full makeup and normally my hair is swept up on the sides with a barrette or it is in a ponytail..I have very long straight hair and I cannot have it blowing around in my face all day!!

I hardly wear makeup at home or style my hair here either...lol...:goodvibes I am a pretty laid back kinda gal. However, I do sometimes wear a light foundation with a sunscreen and some lip glosh with sunscreen as well. As for hair, I just wear it straight and/or pulled back. Nothing too fancy!

I don't style my hair or makeup at home, let alone on vacation:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: . My family wouldn't recognize me. I do make sure to put on sunscreen and I bring chapstick along too!

I do the essentials as far as makeup is concerned. Foundation, mascara and lip gloss so I don't scare anyone. My hair is in a pony tail!
