ICK. I don't. I remember reading in a magazine, that each time you sleep in your makeup it ages your face a week.

Ewww no!! I use the St. Ives Apricot Scrup which takes all my makeup off. Then I use the St. Ives Apricot Radience after that and wash it off with a warm rag. You would not believe how much clearer my skin has gotten since I switched from Neutrogena to the St. Ives. Its awesome and very reasonable.

I often forget to take off makeup before I go to bed, but I usually only wear mascara and lip gloss (and the lip gloss in LONG GONE before bedtime).

NO! It's sooo clogging to your pores and just makes me feeling gross. Definatly not good for your skin at all.

No way! I get on my mom and sisters every time they do too...I used to work for a cosmetic and skin care company, and the aging thing, and how bad it is for your skin is so true!

Don't do it people! I work as a makeup artist for MAC and I deal with peoples faces everyday and I see what it can do aside from just clogging your pores and making you break out. It definately ages the skin, and can give you styes or other eye infections. Definately take the few moments it takes to wash it off at nite. It's worth it.

I use the Apricot Scrub too, but normally in the shower before I put on makeup. I use Makeup removing towelettes to take my makeup off at night.

I usually at LEAST wipe it off with baby wipes.
as long as I havent been hanging out with the lucisous ladies too long...

No, I wash my face every night but I really don't see how it could "age" your face 10 years??? What's the difference in going to sleep with foundation on your face or putting a nighttime cream on your face. They are both "lotion" type substances. I could see if you had really oily skin that it would be a problem, but you would think that wearing it 12 hours a day would also be a problem.

I think that's just an old wives tale.

Gross!! No way....I don't wear makeup but I would never sleep with that crap on my face...I can't imagine the damage that would be doing to your skin. I was told many many years ago to only wash your face with water, not use creams, soap etc on it and I have to say people always tell me I have the best skin they have seen!

I agree with Christine. If it's so bad for your skin at night, wouldn't it be just as bad for your skin during the day? It's not like the components of your skin changes when your eyes are closed.

A lot of times I just hate washing my face, it gets all in my nose and I hate that. But I'm starting to break out so this weekend, it's no make up except for mascara and face wash twice a day, hopefully, maybe, before tuesday it will be gone! :scared:
