Do you remember your Cabbage Patch Kid's name?

Roberta Dolores was my first one. I have 3 others but don't remember their names.

Julie Ann (then the last name of my boyfriend). She was a cutie with a binkie.

I only remember the authentic one I had - that we 'adopted' from the official Cabbage Patch in California. Reggie (something)

I still have him. He's a little black preemie, in a cute blue smockey thing. :)

Lilac Jo! Her birthday was 10/1/82 and I still have her! She's in a rubbermaid container in a closet somewhere...but she's there :)

I had (Have...they're still around somewhere...:confused3 ) three, but only remember one name. (BAD MOMMY! :lmao: )

Hettie Idaline.

Do you guys remember the animal ones? I think Kooska's or something?

My sister had a lion looking one. It scared me so it had to stayin the toy box when I slept and couldn't play with my "real cabbage patch dolls."

Got mine, embarassingly enough, at my 14th bday party from my stepmom. I said when I grew up, I wanted a set of identical twin girls. So my stepmom got a set of twin girl CBK dolls, and gave me one as my bday gift...and kept the other.????? I was sooo humiliated, to get a doll in front of my high school friends.

Anyway, Mine arrived named Bevvie Eartha. I immediately renamed her something close: Beverly Elizabeth. She got deserted into my stuffed animal stash, and now lives in my dd's doll pile. They don't play with her though.

I never had one, but a friend of mine named her daughter after her CPD. Alexis Faith.

It's kind of funny because I also have a daughter named Alexis. We didn't know each other well when we were having kids. My Mom found a CPD for my daughter, and it's name was Alexa Belle. We called her Lexi Belle, and soon after, youngest DD started calling her sister Lexi Belle. We still sometimes call her that. :rolleyes1

I had six or seven....

Bess Kendra was my first one, she was a preemie
Nathan Marlin was a preemie boy w/paci
Geneva Madge
Iona something
Eldon Craig
Carrie Alvira (I thought it was "Elvira)
and a teeny one that I don't remember her name, she was more like a beanie one, I got her later. That's the only one I still have.

My mom got me one for Christmas a couple years ago, his name is Derek Timothy and he resembles my youngest DS......the DS that kidnapped him a couple days after I got him and won't give him up.

My original 80s CPK is Sherrie- but I always forget her middlename! I actually still have her birth certificate somewhere. I have a splash kid whose name was long forgotten.

I have a Hasbro crimp and curl from the early 90s named Elenore Carolle, a Play Along CPK from a few yrs ago named Angie Suzy, and a 25 aniversary kid named Golda Larue.

I have no idea what mines name was.. But I called him the Royal Child. :lmao: Still do. He was a little premie.

I renamed my very first one..I named her Ragley. (Said like Rag Lee) My mom says I named her that because she was a Regular Cabbage Patch Kid? :rotfl: Beats me what I meant when I said that! LOL The other one I remember was
Netta Fannie. I had many others, but those were my two favorites and the only ones I remember. :)

Mine was Jelina Emelina. Goodness, how I loved her. :cutie: I had another one named Christopher Irwin too.

DH even had one - his name was Girard.

My little brother got a preemie - his name was Carmine! Like a little mafia baby. :rotfl:

What were yours?

Yes i do I just gave them to my girls.
Kimberly Ann
Mary Linette
Michael Matthew
My Cusa(SP?) Peaches

i don't remember mne, but i remember my nephew having one he named "dirty jamie" luckily we have him on video playing with it for future humiliation!

I have over 30 I got my first CPK when I was 3 It was the first year they were made. Her name was Flora St.Clare. People in my family were still giving them to me when I was a teenager. I think my parents finally told people not to buy any more after I was around 14. They are all still at my parents house. I need to go get them one day. I got my DD one last year for easter. I dont remember her first name but her middle name was Abby just like my dd. She came with a book called Abby the Tabby. She doesn't play with her though. I think I got her more for me than Abby.

Nicole Marie. I lost her in a house fire about 15 years ago. She had brown hair and green eyes. Loved her!!

Mine was called Kellie Hattie....

Bob xoxoxox

Mine was Winifred Gertie, but I called her Katie

My grandmother had Allison Addie, Allison Addie and Katie/Winifred Gertie used to have tea parties and birthday parties all the time. My Grandma was the best

My brother had Nelson Rufus.

I am totally blanking on her name, but she is up in my closet right now!!

However, my brother had one named Woodie Bertie. He wanted a black bald one -even specified this to Santa- and my Mother searched high and low for one. She found ONE but there was another woman also looking for one for her son and she let her have it. He was pretty upset at Santa on Christmas Day because he hadn't listened to him, and didn't want to open the rest of his presents because Santa "probably just got him a bunch of other stuff he didn't ask for." We still tease him about it. We're white by the way. :rotfl:

OMG, that sounds like my son this year. He's four and he's autistic spectrum, so he's even a bit worse than a regular kid when he gets an idea in his head of what he wants and he just can't let go of it.

So anyhow, leading up to Christmas DH and I are trying to ask him what he wants. Every time we ask he says either "I don't want to talk about it now" or "I'm not telling you" Very frustrating because I really wanted/needed to get the shopping done.

We took him to this really awesome toy store near our house and followed him around to see what he was interested in. He found this Melissa and Doug wooden firetruck that you can build. That was the clear winner of the day, and all he talked about afterwards. He told everyone that all he wanted was "a firetruck that builds".

Fast forward a few days, he's at school and I take his twin to the toystore to pick out something to give him from herself and their older sister. She wants to give him the firetruck. Perfect, we get the firetruck and are on our merry way.

Christmas Eve we put all the family gifts out under the tree. Santa comes at night and puts all his presents on top of or in front of the family gifts. Christmas morning we're opening gifts and after almost every single gift DS says "I said I want a firetruck that builds". He can't let go, it's the one toy he wanted most. So we keep going, he keeps saying that he wants the firetruck. By the time we finally get down to the family gifts and he opens it, he was kind of just like "Eh, whatever"

Marnie. My godmother got her for me in FL, because all the stores in MA were sold out.

This is only noteworthy because I was 11 months at the time. My Dgodmother had decided I HAD to have one. :rotfl: :rotfl:
