Do you remember these?

Wow, I loved Big Boy. Remember Burger Chef? I loved their hamburgers when I was a kid. The coke, miss the glass bottles.:D

Hahaha! 45's. :teeth: Remember how you used to stack them on the record player. :p And remember when the single play turn tables came out and everyone had to run and buy those yellow things to stick in the middle of the 45's so you could play them on the turn table. :teeth: I saw a man's tie with pictures of those yellow things silk screened onto the tie! LOL! :p

Hometown has Campfire Marshmellows, but they're not like the originals. Came in a box, dusty white on the outside with a little bit of a hard crust! Boy do I miss those!!

Another huge fan of Coke in the 16oz glass bottle! Nothing can beat it.

My best friend and I used to take the bus to mall every Monday after we had gotten our allowance, and spend it all at Woolworths!!! We loved that place. We'd get something to eat, buy some 45's, get some cheapy makeup, some candy, and occasionally a gerbil or a fish LOL.

I also grew up with Burger Chef, up until a couple of years ago I had a glow in the dark Burger Chef mini frisbee kicking around. I am not sure where it is now.

How about Bonomo Turkish Taffy.........freeze it and smack it into a hundred little pieces.
Or 7-up in the green glass bottles. It just doesn't taste the same in cans or plastic, even though I think Sierra Mist isn't bad, if you're not drinking Coke.

OMG, I was just thinking of this! Banana was my favorite flavor. They no longer make it, but there's supposedly something similar called French taffy or something like that.

7Up candy bars!:D It was fun to break off the individual segements and eat them one at a time:D

Burger Chef!! OMG, I remember my grandmother used to put extra money in our birthday cards w/ a note saying "Have mom & dad use this money to take you to Burger Chef".

I remember the little trays they served the kids meals in.

And, they had the little condiment station - that's where my dad introduced me to mixing mayo & ketchup to dip your fries in.

1-2-3 Jello!

I was just talking to my DSIL about this yesterday and she said I should start a thread to see if it was still available anywhere!

I've been sick all week with a sore throat and have been craving strawberry 1-2-3 Jello like you wouldn't believe.

You really have to wonder what kind of chemicals were in it to make it seperate into those layers, though...

How about space food sticks? I think they were made by Pillsbury and came in different flavors.
