Do you remember the King Family?

Last night while at the park with my son, a woman commented that he looked like one of the "King" family. What a freakin flashback. I remembered so vividly after she said that, and how I loved those Christmas specials! Ok I'm a dork

Sadly, I'm not a baby and clearly remember the King Family. Worse yet, I clearly remember LIKING them and never missing their Christmas specials. I always wanted to be the King girl who played Robbie's wife on My Three Sons.

Yes, they were singers -- timeframe late 60's/early 70s. They would put on these really hokey Christmas specials......somehow it worked!

What about Andy Williams, anyone remember his Christmas specials? My grandmother could not be TORN from those -- I wasn't as crazy about those as I was the King family specials.

I think the King Family had specials throughout the year as well....
I remember scenes of them gathering around picnic tables outside and that probably wasn't at Christmas time......

I was just talking about them at work and everyone thought I was nuts! I loved them...we watched all their specials. I also wanted to be Katie Douglass....I had such a crush on Robbie!
