WOW!!!! over 20% of you pee in the pool??? OH MY GOD!!!!

First let me say this... THAT IS GROSS! Is it that hard to get out of the pool? That's just RUDE.

The first thing thats going to pop into my head when I get to the waterpark this summer...

Remember that 22% :rotfl: ....

Even after numerous frozen cocktails, I STILL GET OUT AND GO TO THE RESTROOM!!

Those of you who dont may you be

I don't pee in pools - just let me make that clear for the record!

However, I do not get freaked out over the thought that there might be pee in the pool from others. Pee is sterile, it will not harm me. I would never encourage anyone to pee in a pool, but if a small child or two did it would not bother me.

Pee might be sterle but I dont like the thought of getting a mouthful of it whilst swimming and splashing about!!!!:earseek: I will just have to make sure I rinse my mouth regularly whilst swimming with plenty of Pina Coladas

This reminds me of something my dd said awhile ago when she was in the tub. She asked me seriously, "Mommy, can I pee in the tub, because you really can't see it." :earseek: :rotfl: I said, "absolutely not!" I have a bladder of steel and will hold it until I get out of the pool. I don't like swimming and will avoid pools when possible, but that's hard to do when you have a child who was a fish in a former life.

Ack, those results are scary!

I'm hoping people made a mistake, and hit "no, they don't pee in the pool" Not No, they don't get out.

Polls closed....

We always get out... and I make sure the girls go before we enter but both are good about it. They also get out of the tub to pee.

Now I'm wondering if another option on the poll was needed:

additional choice : "I do not pee in the pool. I get out, go to my room and pee on the comforter"

You want the pool all to yourself? Just do a nice big poop in there. :rotfl:
Remember the floating candy bar in the movie Caddyshack? Everyone thought it was poop? :rotfl2:

This thread is so funny and no I don't pee in the pool but someone did mention that pee is sterile. Last year when we visited the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama we went to a little program where they tell you all about the International Space Station and how they are limited to how much stuff they can take up to them. They do take them "some" water, but they recycle ALL the water, bath water, pee, etc. The speaker said that it goes through a special filtration process and is 99% pure when finished, when she said that I am thinking that is just disgusting but then she said that the water that we drink is only like 95%.......their recycled stuff is cleaner than ours. Just thought I'd share.......doesn't most of the public water supply come from a major body of water, what do people out in those major bodies of water swimming, boating, etc. use for a restroom.......

Oh yeah, along the lines of the floating poop.....if you ever need a great ice breaker and have access to a clean, new, never used toilet....plug it up, fill up with Mountain Dew or Mellow Yellow and put mini Snickers bars in......this was done at a youth conference......no more bobbing for apples were bobbing for poop.

Too Funny!!
I missed this thread in November...As for me, I always get out, but I don't freak out about the occasional kid who doesn't. Pools are huge and the chemicals they use to kill the bacteria are strong and so a little bit of pee in the picture isn't going to hurt much of anything. Now when it's the other...that's yuck. We were once at a water park where the kiddie pool had been closed for the day because of such an "accident". It's e-coli isn't it, that is the risk associated with that issue? Bad stuff.

As for going in the ocean, haven't you read about those little fishies that swim up a urine stream until they find something to bite? Yee--ouch!!

We tell our kids that pools have a special chemical that turns bright red if someone pees in it. No one has admitted to testing it yet!

I heard this somewhere, too. I really think it exists! I certainly would never test it! How mortifying! (and gross!)

Must have done piss search. :cool1: Give crap or poop a try too, you'll come up with a recent one how it can be like cream frosting on a cake. :thumbsup2 This one is a classic, I love it, so descriptive!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :woohoo: :yay:
....blocking the poop - well, the poster who referenced the spreadable icing pretty well covered it. Or if it goes to the other extreme and dries into one big hard mass - it's like dropping the Hiroshima bomb into the water and then you have all that bacteria-infested water all over your butt.

No thanks! I think I'll skip that one. There seems to be no rhyme or reason about why some threads stay and others don't. I personally see no reason for someone to post their bathroom rituals on the Dis but that's just me. Now this thread interested me as I was sure the red dye statement would come up as it is such a classic urban legend. I guess I'll just stay on the Universal boards on the Dis where bathroom discussion is kept at minimum except to discuss whether trashcans were overflowing at themepark restrooms.
