Do you re-wear your clothes in Disney?

We sometimes wear the same shirt/outfit/shorts twice in the same trip, but we do laundry at least once. I wouldn't wear rewear them without washing them.

Nope I do not rewear on vacation or at home

I do laundry one time during our stay.

If we were driving I'd be taking a lot more haha! We're doing the 4-5 bottoms and 6-8 shirts thing for a 6 night trip. But we are staying in a villa with a washer and dryer. I also feel gross if I don't change after being all sweaty in the morning before going out again in the evening and prefer not to wear something again without washing it.

One of the main reasons I like to do laundry on vacation is because I don't want to have to do it when I get back home!! I always clean as much as I can late the night before we head home and then it's ready to be put away when we get home.

We re-wear jeans, shorts, nighties, sweatshirts, sometimes undershirts(shirts under the sweatshirts depending on the weather and what we have been doing), and bathing suits.

We will give it a day between re-wears to let it air out.

Travel clothes are always re-wear because they are comfortable.

Do all the WDW resorts (specifically Art of Animation) have laundry rooms on site?

We stay in a villa with a W/D and do laundry every day or every other day. We use the washer as a hamper and just wash when it is full. Easy peasy.

I do laundry 2 times during our 8 day stay and then the night before we leave my DH takes the kids to the pool and I do laundry again and repack everything clean and ready to put up when we get home. I love not getting home with suitcases full of dirty clothes.

I do laundry every day. It is a must.

We go in the summer & even when I didn't go in the summer I still took a mid day break & I do laundry then.

DH & I shower in the am & then again before going back out to the park-just a quick one & the kids shower then too.

DH & I bring maybe 4 outfits/3-4 shorts/4-5 shirts & the kids used to get the same plus one but my youngest is 6 & will be 7 when we go next so I think I will keep the 4-5 outfits per person.

I'd rather do laundry then bring that many suitcases.

Oh & we go for 7-8 days.

I generally would rewear bottoms, but in Disney I'm usually sweating so bad that I would never want to rewear anything! We usually stay in a villa with a W/D and I throw everyone's stuff in every night. Once we stayed somewhere that didn't and I packed more clothes but still planned a pool day while I threw two loads in the laundromat poolside.

I do take an outfit for each day. if it cooler then I may wear same shorts twice but if I get sweaty and it is humid I just can not re-wear. I pack then go back later and take out what I feel is over packed so that I do not end up with way to much stuff. and plenty of undies as I am not doing laundry regardless on vacation.

We always wear bottoms at least twice. I take enough tops for every day but expect bottoms to be worn at least twice.

It depends on what I'm wearing. I work out a couple times a day here at home and I don't usually shower but once a day, but I wear really light breathable clothes. I wear a lot of mesh shorts and workout capris, we will be going in June and I plan to take several pairs of my Nike mesh shorts, even though they are pretty short, I might re-wear them, but no more than twice.

Now shirts are a different matter, I don't usually have bad body odor, but I do change shirts frequently. I prefer T shirts but do have some dri-fit workout shirts that I will probably take. Underthings like sports bras and underwear I will probably change frequently and not rewear unless we do laundry, oh, and socks too, I would never in a million years rewear socks!

So, to sum up, I think I can get by re wearing my shorts, but I'm definitely overpacking shirts and underthings. We are staying at The Swan and I hope there is a laundry facility nearby just in case.

Blessings, Michelle

I've learned over the years that it's just easier for me to do a few loads of laundry throughout my vacation. We usually plan a mid week "break" day anyways, and I start washing things then. Plus -I hate how the hotel rooms start to smell like dirty clothes after a few days of accumulation. I usually try to have it all clean for the flight home. Coming home is depressing enough, let along having a mass of laundry to start.

We usually go during cooler weather, so I find it's easier to pack lighter. A few pairs of jeans and shorts for everyone with several tops and a few layering pieces. I've learned after years of overpacking what I need to make it through a trip. If I get somewhere and find that I forgot something I absolutley need, I'll get a new souvenir. :D

And at this rate, this year I'm going to need a separate suitcase for DD5's princess dresses.princess:

I pack very little and do laundry. We were just there for 9 days and did laundry 3x. After backpacking in Europe, you have little tolerance for carrying a ton of clothes.

I bring plenty of shirts and rewear bottoms. Some of you saying 2 outfits a day blows my mind! I have a family of five. If we all wore 2 outfits a day and we had an 8 day trip planned that would be 80 shirts, and 80 pairs of pants! No way I'm doing laundry either. Unless its in the room with me. The only issues I have with rewearing clothes is if my kids get food on them. Can't stand a big ole spaghetti stain.

I've been looking at some packing threads for ideas on how to cut down on my packing. I am a chronic overpacker. However, I don't get how people only bring for example 8 tops & 4 bottoms for an 8 day trip to Disney (assuming they are not planning to do laundry). I find that I feel so gross after a day in the parks, I can't wait to take off my dirty clothes & take a shower. I can't even imagine putting those same clothes on again another day. I guess that's why we never take afternoon breaks. I would feel like everyone would have to shower & put on clean clothes before we head out again. I certainly wouldn't lay down in bed for a nap in my clothes from the park.

How do other people handle this? Am I just a clean freak? I'm already planning to bring at least 7 outfits each for our 5 day trip.

We are doing a 10 WDW trip in May and a 7 day cruise and only have 5 free bags with Jetblue! How in the heck do I pack for 20 days for 5 ppl and plus all the pirate night costumes and the tuxedos and woman's formal wear??? And we have the same problem with sweating and I don't like my family to wear the same outfit (look wise) everyday, I will be staying off site for the WDW part so I bet I will be doing laundry :scared:

Some people call me a minimalist. I don't think I'm that extreme.

I only own 10 outfits (not including a few dresses and PJ's).

I have had the hot humid sweaty days in the summer and will just shower and change into the next days clothes early and make sure I get to a washer sooner.

I do not rewear unless I do laundry. And since we go with young kids and usually have 10 nights away, we always do laundry. I don't stay at a place with a w/d in the room. We schedule ahead of time when we're going to do laundry.

I go through one outfit a day. PJ's can be worn up to 3 days since I always shower before bed. We go in Nov/Dec/Jan, otherwise, I'd likely want two outifts some of the time!
