Do you plan your QS?

We use most of our QSs for breakfast (I'm hooked on the bounty platter), but on the rare occasions when we have a few spares, we avoid the hot dogs and burgers and try places like Cosmic Rays or Flame Tree. As someone else mentioned, the French pastry shop is always an option.

I like to reasearch soem options that are in our planned path and have some ready ideas, but I don't put QS on the excel spreadsheet ahead of time.:)

Yeah, this is pretty much what we do as well. No definite plans, just have a few options ready. DS8 is picky, picky, picky and more picky, so I like to have a few restaurants scoped out already rather than having to wonder around looking for a restaurant with a menu that he will eat from.

Sort of, sometimes. This trip, we decided to take an afternoon for DisneyQuest. The first thing out of my mouth was "we're going to eat dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Express, right?"

We end up with a general idea where we will eat QS because we know what park we will be in and what we like in each park. But we don't always stick to it.

For example, we were expecting to have dinner at Columbia Harbor House during our last trip. Somehow we didn't end up eating dinner until 11:00PM, and the only place open in the park at that point was the Main Street Bakery.

We always do a little research but keep our options open! I try not to plan every single minute lol:rotfl2:

Yes. I love planning where we are going to eat! Although I don't go nuts if we decide to eat at a different CS that wasn't originally as planned.

First family trip for us, DW and I have been, but it has been years... we will have some ideas at each park (both "yes" and "no" places). Other than that it will be - where we are at what time and who is hungry... our kids are fairly open to different foods, but I am sure there is always a "nuggets" option at most places...

i have a loose plan of where we will go for QS meals based on what park we will be in, but we've taken to going to different resorts for QS lunch from time to time. we may go into the week knowing we would eat lunch at POP or DD once, but would just make a last minute decision on when to go. since we have our favorites at some of the parks it makes it easier to decide, usually when we go to DHS or AK we end up eating lunch elsewhere.

I always plan where I am going to eat, but usually I only end up following about 70% of it. Some things come up and you are forced to change.

lol, i usually plan the QS meals because i am one of those obsessive disney planners, but when we are in the parks we sometimes just get really hungry and decide we need to eat wherever we are at the time.

Yes and no. I like to just know what's in the park/area where we'll be for that meal & then just choose what we feel like eating at the time.

For example, when we go to MK, I know the choices we like are Caseys (hotdogs), Columbia Harbor House (fried fish, etc.), Pinnochios (pizza), and Cosmic Rays (rotisserie chicken)

So when we're there, we'll just decide which of the 4 we'd feel like eating.

I plan my CS loosely, meaning if we change it, no biggie. I make an itinerary for our trip in Excel. For each day, I list park hours, PM EMHs, ADRs, and a suggestion of what our CS meal should be each day. I do it so that we don't miss any favorites and also try something new. :)

I wouldn't say we really plan, but we do have a general idea of the QS restaurants we plan to visit.
