My daughter had skin cancer, she had two lymph nodes removed. She's only 23 years old. We were told that if we had waited another 6 months it would not be good news.

My aunt- breast cancer.

Yes! My Mother(54) had a rare & aggressive form of Breast Cancer! It has been 1 year since she had a double mastectomy. She's tough as nails! She has put off any reconstructive surgery until my youngest brother(17) graduates in May 2010!

She's my hero, mom, & best friend!

My Mom, who should be the spokesperson for breast cancer. She had it in 1967 and is still alive! She is a tough lady. Also my husband, prostate cancer 5 years ago. I truly believe that early detection saved both their lives. I really hope one day that they find a cure for ALL cancers. Praying and hoping.

My great-grandma (she's 82) had lung cancer and also breast cancer. She had a mastectomy a little over a year ago.

My mom had skin cancer 5 years ago.

I also went to middle school & high school with two kids that had leukemia.
