Do you overplan?

I certainly over-prepare, but I try not to over-plan. I spend too much time here even when I have no idea when/if my next trip will happen, but when I actually get around to planning a trip, I make myself write it all down so that I can see if I start to overschedule a day. I probably go through a thousand options, but try to make the final product fit our laid-back travel style so it's not stress-filled once we get there. :)

This thread makes me feel better. My mom was laughing at me earlier but she doesn't laugh when she has a great trip. :cool1: Like someone said it makes it last a year.I can't stand around wandering what we should do next-though plans can ALWAYS bechanged.Especially when my children are involved. :)

Hello, my name is Ruth, and I am a planaholic.

Seriously, the planning is at least half of the fun for me. Doesn't matter where we're going, or what type of trip, I love to plan, and find myself addicted to boards like this. Last summer, we went to Akumal in the Mayan Riveria, and our whole travelling group was so thankful that I had done so much research. It made the trip so much more fun!

Now, the hard part is taking breaks from reading posts to actually get some work done. Oh well, it's only hard til April 15 (I'm a CPA), and then I can get in more DIS time! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
