Do you "move" on the weekends?

We generally stay a week and do not move. If we stay longer we usually stay at two resorts, but do not do anything special for the weekend.

AKL is also one of our favorite resorts and will be returning there in August.

On our last trip we were at Vero Beach the first week & VWL the second, staying at a hotel on Internationsl Dr on the weekend.
After that weekend, we appreciated what we have at DVC so much more. Internalional Dr is so tacky, busy, noisy. We stayed there for old times sake.

We were saving points to stay at the Grand Californian this summer

Sorry, but I think moving for the weekend to save points is absurd, I suggest buying wnough points.

Well I think it's absurd to suggest that everyone can afford 350 pts right away.

I don't think I could move in the middle of my vacation...like move "out" on the weekend and come back on Sunday. But I do plan to start my vacation on a Thursday night and spend Thurs, Fri, and Sat. at POR or the Dolphin and move to SSR on Sunday. I may sometimes stay the weekend, but won't always have enough points.

Since the cash rate at the Disney resorts doesn't increase on the weekends, it annoys me that DVC point values nearly double.
