Do you match your outit with the park?

I don't, but Duffy usually does. Duffy would never think to go to AK without his Safari wear on. Sometimes Duffy even has to take changes of clothes for Epcot, because he might want to change depending on the country where we are eating. He wears his Santa suit to MVMCP. That bear goes everywhere with DD (7). He has been back to WDW with us twice since she got him in 2010 and he has been to DL too. This generally involves me frantically digging through doll clothes while trying to pack because DD can't find one of his outfits that he just HAS to have at WDW.

Okay- I'll admit it. I do have a Black shirt with a leopard Mickey Head I got at AK, that I do pull out and wear on AK day if it is short sleeve weather. I also do have 2 Disney Mickey Christmas sweatshirts that I will wear to MVMCP.

DD does sometimes coordinate her outfits based on what park we are doing for the day. It used to be costumes, but now it is more dress color or style since she is older and usually only wears a costume one MK day. That isn't just Disney for her though. She is my little fashion plate, and has had definite opinions about her clothes since she could talk. We went to Seaworld San Antonio last week for spring break and she absolutely insisted on wearing a multi shade blue/blue-green tiered skirt and matching shirt, because the outfit is "ocean" colored and looks like waves and was "perfect for Seaworld". I think I'm in trouble when she is a teenager.

Not necessarily...BUT I do have one outfit I tend to "save" for my AK day. It has a bit of an African vibe to it.

On our Epcot day, I tend to wear something a bit nicer, since we like to hang in World Showcase and there isn't much on the way of thrill rides or rides where we'd get wet. Also, I tend to think of the WS restaurants as bit nicer, so I like to look/feel a step above t-shirt.

MK day though, all bets are off! It's strictly comfort and ease of movement!

I have a particular pair of shorts for ak.
A certain minnie and mickey t-shirt I like to wear for mk.
Dh has a star wars t-shirt and Muppets t-shirt for dhs.
Ds has mickey socks,dd has princess socks.

So,yes,to a degree,but not everyday.:)

but for some odd reason we have always had my son in orange when we go to AK. Not planned, but seemed to end up that way from the pics we took. So, now it is kind of our tradition.

That is all. the rest is winging it.

I did buy my boys POTC tshirts to wear for Pirates League and I'll pack their "Cars" shirts for DHS. That's as far as I'm going, I think.

Only slightly. On our AK day, I take Kali into consideration. Never wear denim! I might steer slightly towards khaki for AK.

If we are not taking a break, and we have an ADR, I wear something that's nice enough to wear to dinner.

I do consider where we are going in terms of which shoes to wear. I always bring two pairs of decent walking shoes, but inevitably one is more comfortable.

If we are going to Universal- I make sure one of us is wearing cargo shorts, so we can skip carrying a bag, if possible.

We did for a few trips.
Now we just wear Mickey head tie dye shirts.

I don't do it for myself but I do for DD, lol MK is generally princesses, AK Mickey with animal print, HS is Disney junior, and EPCOT, well Epcot is just Epcot lol whatever I think looks cute that day :) with how dead we have been at work these last couple weeks I have gotten much more into planning her outfits, even tho we are more than 6 months out!

I have never done this and won't because just my luck someone would spill on a shirt or sit in something (probably me lol)

Never. DH hates it when we wind up wearing similar color shirts and will usually go change. And actually, I don't think either of us has a single item of Disney themed clothing. But I do usually wear a small tiara as a headband to keep my hair out of my eyes while in the parks. And while cleaning at home since the chores go faster when you own your princess status. :)

I found the Creative Board before our trip in April 2011 and I loved making shirts for my family to wear each day. I was able to get the shirts from a friend for $4.00 a shirt then I purchased the Iron On's from a fellow Diser and printed out some really cool designs made by other Disers. I made shirts for the day we went, each park, some just for fun, and even a "I don't want to go home" shirt. It was so much fun.

My DH was even on board. When we went in December 2012 I did some really cute outfits for my kids and I have already started working on our November 2013 trip.

I think it's fun to make the matching shirts and we did receive lots of compliments and "where did you get that" during our trips. I also noticed lots of other families doing the same thing - some more than others.

I think it's just depends on what you and your family like. To me and my family it just adds a little extra Disney Magic. pixiedust:

For example, hs characters the day you go there, animal theme at ak?

Wow...something I haven't heard before.

Never in a million years would this idea even enter my mind.

Have fun dressing up. :)

Jim

I do for my dd5, I have custom outfits and/or shirts with matching bows, my dh has several Disney t-shirts but not park specific, I have a few and also wear them again not park specific

No, but we do wear matching shirts :rotfl2: JUST KIDDING!!!

I generally go with the : wear what's comfortable and what looks "cute." as a rancher, I generally am dressed to the nines in boots, heavy coats and baseball caps. I "dress up" to go to Disney as I generally dont' get to be glamorous at home. princess: Dresses and comfortable shoes are my apparel of choice and I won't match the park!

Some trips I have, and some trips I havent. This most recent trip we "Disneybounded" (when you dress up as a character in real clothes not costumes, such as, a darkgreen pair of shorts with a lighter green top & a red festher in your hair and your Peter pan)
We did: Tink & peter for mk
-russel from up & the foltk bird for ak
-ariel & rapunzel for epcot (dinner at akershus)
- lottie (p&tf) ans wreck it ralph on our last day
-we also had matching buzz & woody hair bows for our dhs day

I like having something fun, or at least, wearig green if im gonn see tink, wearing purple and do a braid style hair if im going to see rapunzel, etc it adds to the experience when you cant dress in costume!!
