Do you look older than your age?

I have always looked younger and still do. When I was 25 I bought a movie ticket and didn't pay attention to the charge. I noticed after that I got the teen ticket. Oh well, it saved me $2. It can get annoying at times though. I had to go back out to my car last summer to get my license before Walmart would sell me spray paint. You had to be over 18 which I was, by 12 years.

I'm sure being shorter doesn't help. They must think I still have a growth spurt coming, they are sadly mistaken.

I know what you mean about height. I'm only 5"1 and so I also think being short sometimes makes people look younger.

I think height is a huge factor in looking younger. I am not even 5 feet tall and I always been mistaken as being younger (which I love!!). I was still being carded getting into casinos up till my early 30's. But I always said if I were a more average height (like 5 foot 5 inches or so), I would have always looked my age. I don't know any very tall people who are constantly mistaken for being younger.

But alas, my days for looking younger are rapidly ending, as I am getting soooo gray now. If I start coloring my hair, that may help. But I don't mind starting to look my age, since I work with a lot of senior citizens - they always think of me as a kid, no matter what!

Dh says I still look like I did when I was a teenager.

I tell him that's because I looked like I was in my 30's when I was 16.....

I don't know...it may be a huge advantage, but I'm 5'8" and still always get mistaken for being younger than I am.

I aged about 10-15 years in about 5 years.

I've had a beard since I was 23 because without it I looked like a puppy. But then around 40, the gray hair started and now I look older, much older!

A new teacher recently asked me how much older my brother (a fellow teacher) was than me. I happily told her he actually is 8 years younger than me!!!
