If so, can I come over and visit you?:teeth: I wish I lived closer to the beach. The closest one to me is about an hour and a half away and there's more glass than sand there.

Well when I am home I live on Cape Cod which is a man made island so yeah i live near a beach. It is like a 3 minute drive to the nearest beach.

About 20 minutes from the beach here - come on over:wave:

4 minutes to a fresh water beach. about 10 to the ocean, and yet, we NEVER go. I have a pool in the backyard and just never seem to get there!

only about 2 hours away, by plane

About 10 minutes to the Ocean from our house. Come on down!
We were there on Tuesday and it was gorgeous.

This lake has a nice sandy beach, and it's two miles from my home. Hey, with all this snow and rain, we better have some good beaches!

I live an hour and a half away from the beach at Lake Michigan but with the water being in the 30's right now, I don't think you will want to come visit!:earseek: :teeth:

I'm 10 min. from the Long Island Sound and 20 min from the ocean. We have a pool and use it every day in the summer, but we still go to the beach frequently. When the kids were smaller we always went to the Sound, as the water is a lot calmer, now they always want to go boogie boarding in the ocean.

Daytona is about an hour away from me now....but I used to live less than 10 min from the beach. Siiiiiiighhhhh............

I live just about 15 minutes from Clearwater Beach. Come on down, the weather is perfect for a beach day!

:sunny:

We're about a 1 min. walk over the sand dune to the beach, but I wouldn't come over just yet. Right now it's only 44 but it is supposed to go up to 55 today. Nice for us but I'm sure a little cool for you. :firefight

I envy all you that live so close to a beach. I think I need to visit every one of you.:teeth:

That's such a pretty pic, Barb.:)

Lucky I live about an hour from the Cape and Boston and 2 hours from Maine where my favorite beach is.....and I do go there several times a year! I have always felt bad for people who never get a chance to see the ocean.....it is amazing!

Completely land-locked here. Southern Illinois is not known for it's beaches!!! ;) ;)

About 15 minutes to the beach. Not far at all. And we have a park with a fresh water beach 2 minutes away. I never seem to get to either. I burn too easily so avoid the beach.

We live about 15 min. from the beach. Going there for lunch today. Wanna come?

3 Minutes to the Long Island Sound, 15 to the ocean (with the way I drive :) )

I prefer the ocean beaches, but it's nice to go to the beaches on the sound for just a walk at night.

Let's see, about 5 minutes from Sea Isle City, ten minutes from Avalon, 15 from Wildwood, 20 from Cape May, 15 from Ocean City. Do the beaches on the Delaware bay count? If so about 10 minutes from there.

um, less than 5 to Gooches, less than 7 to Mothers and Parsons, about 15 to Goose Rocks....you can walk to gooches in like 15 and it's the prettiest walk.....god I love maine
