I know quite a few people who like their name and I like mine. do you like yours?

No, I don't like my name (Cindy). It's just Cindy, not Cynthia. I never liked it, even while I was growing up and I like it even less now. It just seems like a little kid's name to me. My mother wanted to name me Nicole or Erica and my father wanted Mary or Anne (I'm not nuts about those either). I have no idea how they came up with Cindy. I always asked my mom if they picked Cindy b/c they got bored of looking thru the name book and just stopped at the C's.

oops sorry! I forgot it's Margaret Elizabeth. I like my name but hate when people call me nickenames. It's Margaret, not Maggie, Meg, Peg or Peggy!

I used to hate the name Amy growing up but I quite like it now. Out of the three girls my parents had, I like my name better than the other choices they made. I really disliked my middle name which is Lee but it was my grandfather's middle name and I'm very proud to be the only grandkid named after him--I adored him.

DD hates hers. I told her when she has a kid, she'll have her turn to torture them with a name that she loves and they hate.

My DH will call me San, which is perfectly fine, but when my customers do it, it really bugs me. I've never said anything to any of them , I just smile and respond

My real name is Dee Angela. I dont mind the DEE. THo I was never called that. I've always been called Angel and I dont mind that. But I hate Angela.

No. My parents gave me an ethnic name and I am not that ethnicity. Decades later it is starting to become populare outside of that ethnic group, but only slightly. I also hated that I could never find anything with my name on it.

I do like my name and I think it is a pretty name, Sarah. It's just waaaaaaayyyyyyyy to many people have the same name has me! Every time I turn around, I hear "Sarah" and it's not always for me! LOL I would love my name more if not so many people had the same name has me!

I don't like mine. It's Lynn Ann. I have 2 middle names and no first name. Everyone I know has these 2 names for middle names. I want a real first name!

Love my name. It's Paige. I love it, I think, despite the fact that I took loads of teasing about it, because my mother always told the story of how she couldn't think of a more "bee-yoo-ti-ful" name than Paige.

In fact, dh loves it too, so much that he is pushing to use it as a girl's middle name should we ever have a daughter. I like it, but I think folks might think it's weird to use my name as my daughter's middle.
