My cake was beyond traditional (I'd do things differently now) and I wouldn't have a mario one, but I think that's awesome It was very well made.

And if I had something I loved DEEPLY I'd do it maybe. If it meant that much to both of us

My thought when I see cakes like that is that it's a shame to eat them! I prefer to eat simple cakes and keep works of art to display.

I just said to my DH the other day that if I was getting married now I would choose one feature in my reception to be totally crazy. Either the cake or napkins came to mind (when I saw napkins with a picture of "romantic" cows). Ha, ha, ha.

The cake is a hoot. For a birthday party or some other type of party, if I were a Mario Kart fan, I'd love it. But for a wedding? No.
