Do you like the sometimes just ride the Monorail?

another nice way to relax and beat the heat is to ride the monorails, and get off at every hotel. go to the gift shops and stop and get a drink at one bar in each hotel. sitting in the front feels like ur in the cockpit of an airplane too

I was just curious for anyone who has stayed at WDW Monorail Resorts or one day after leaving the Magic Kingdom, have you ever decided to ride the WDW monorail all around just for fun? Since my family & I always stay at the Contemporary on days where we plan on just relaxing we sometimes like to ride the Monorail once around the track & get off it when we return to the Contemporary. So anyone else ever do this?

Hehe, we're guilty of this. In feb we had ressies for 'Ohana and we were early, so we sat and rode the monorail around about 3 times! We love it!

.....I also enjoy the boat from the Magic Kingdom dock to Wilderness Lodge, then hop a bus to Downtown Disney, shop a little, then take the boat "home" to PO-R. Makes for a very enjoyable afternoon.

We LOVE the monorail!! We stay at the AKL when we go to WDW, but we always take 1 evening and ride the monorail around to the 3 hotels and walk through their gift shops, or dine in 1 of the hotels. Can't imagine a trip to WDW without spending some time on the monorail !!!

boat. We only used the monorail for transportation, although we had fun on it (including sitting in the front a few times). However, me and my little one (3 year old girl) loved taking the water launch/taxi from the Poly and just going around the lake. One time we stayed on for 3 round trips. She kept asking to go for a ride on the boat.
