Wood Gate...pleased to meet you!! I live on Old Post!!!:teeth:

Hey that old post probably came off our wood gate. See, now it all makes sense.:p

I don't live on it, but a cross street is Scruggs, who would name a street Scruggs!

No. I live on Gargasz Drive and I constantly have to spell it for everyone.

We just moved but our old street was Fayetteville -Manlius Rd
They are the two towns that the street connects. Now... try writing that on ANYTHING. It never fits. DMV had to leave out all the vowels!!!!
I'm so glad we have gotten rid of it!!!

Mine isn't too bad and I like it. It is 3 short words (two of which are a monopoly property), but then they added NW to it. It is a 2 block road for heaven's sake! So it gets kinda long. My poor Mom lives on a street named for an Indian river--nobody can pronounce or spell it. She gets some interesting mail--at least the PO knows who she is.

And growing up, I too lived on Main Street for a short time.

I live in a fairly new subdivision and all the street names in it are odd- I guess all the good street names were taken!

The name of our street is Bikar Ct.- hate it because noone pronounces it right. The builder told us it is "Buy-CAR" but everyone says "Biker". It sounds like we live in Harley-Davidson Estates! Most of the mail we get is addressed to Biker Ct. Aargh!

I think whoever named the streets in my new subdivision must have been a bit tipsy.....They are the weirdest and most un-appealing names for streets that I have ever heard..... The subdivision is gorgeous with winding streets, trails and beautiful trees....I cant believe that the developer allowed these horrendous names.....

Nope, don't like the name of the street I live on now. I used to like living on Vanderbilt Lane....I thought it sounded like old money. . . or women's jeans. LOL.

yeah ours is quite ok Appledore

I went from living on Broadway to now living on Park Avenue.
LOL!!!

Now for anyone who knows about New York, did I upgrade from going from Broadway to Park Avenue? Of course I don't live in New York :( Just wanted to know if Park Avenue is better. It's one of those days. Trip is getting close and the kids are going nuts. LOL!!!

I recently bought a house on Cross Bow Lane. Yes, being a big medieval-type person, I like the name. I just wish that it was Crossbow like its supposed to be but it will do.

Hey, I used to live on a lot of fruity streets. Guava, Peachtree, Orange....to be honest, this is the first time I realized that. What in the heck is up with that???

My address is a mouthfull to say right now, and it's gonna be worse when I move in 1 1/2 months. I wish I had a simple, easy to say address again!

we live in town, and every street from 1st - 18th is a Number, except ours. We have a name. We get all kinds of deliveries for people on the streets on either side of us. Luckly we live next to the street sign, so when people start to agure with me I just point to the sign and say, not this isn't the right street.

We just moved, and I love my new address- 43 Lakeshore Drive. How cute is that? It's a bit of a lie, though, since we're about a mile from the lake.

Urgh. I'm not crazy about mine. Are you ready? Falcon Crest Drive. Yes, just like the 80's drama.
