Our street name is really kind of stupid. I never thought about it until now - Woodgate. Someone actually named a street after a wooden gate???

Do you like your street name? Does it fit? Or is it corny?;)

Funny my dad lives in Woodgate on Old Post Rd. :teeth:

Me, I luv my street name. Viola Drive. ::flower2: :flower2:

Now ain't that the prettiest sounding name?::yes::

Well a long, long, long time ago we lived on a place called Worthington Drive, we only rented, but it sounded classy. I like our new street name too. People say, oh thats a nice street etc, when I am placing an order for something etc.

I like the name of my street. It's easy to spell and simple to remember as opposed to my where my grandmother lives. Her street is Itchepackasassa. I'm exhausted just typing it out.

I dont really like mine its Organic Way,dont know how they came up with it.

We are looking for land so we can build next year and we found a nice piece of land on Get this,Possum Ridge,I told DH to forget it if I dont get to build thats fine but I will not live on Possum Ridge:earseek:

I used to live in a subdivision in Houston called Ashford something or the other. EVERY SINGLE street started with Ashford - Ashford Trail, Ashford Circle, Ashford Pines, Ashford Lane, Ashford Terrace, etc.

I was on Ashford Trail - you know how people never write down the "Street" , "Lane", "Avenue" part of an address. I got calls from more people trying to come to my house saying there are too many streets named Ashford - which one are you on.

the name of my street - it's a name of a street in MGM. Gillespie

Mine is in French:crazy: ...the developer even has fancy Wrought iron street signs. Every time I order something or tell someone my address I say the numbers and then stop and tell them I am going to spell the next 3 words for them.

We used to live on Brady Street so of course we were called the Brady Bunch everytime we told people our address.
