I have never heard anything positive about the Norway film. In fact, The Unofficial Guide advises avoiding it if at all possible. I once sat through it and, after what seemed like an eternity of watching the movie, I was left with the impression that movie making should be outlawed in Norway to assure that nothing that mind numbingly dull is ever unleashed on mankind again.

In short, I didn't like it.

What do you think about the Norway film?

It's okay and I'll stick around to watch it occasionally, but I don't like it when I have to stand around waiting outside the theater after getting off Maelstrom.

I voted, 'I didn't like it much', Don, as I do recall seeing it, once, but can not recall a thing about it.

I voted that I like it ok. I do see it every time I go, and it still makes me jump out of my skin it's so loud at first!! When the boy touches the Norwegian ship and then when they show the vikings. I know it's coming and it still startles me!

Actually, its my favorite of all the films. I love the opening with the little boy and the viking ship. :o

I voted Okay. If you have seen this film once, that is a gracious plenty!::yes::

It's ok, but we've seen it enough times that now we walk on through.

For me, it is just ok. If I can ride the Malestrom without seeing the film, it is no great loss. I do live the films in France and China and watch them every time I am in WDW.

We saw it once, and thought it was OK. Every time since we just walk through the theater.

I always feel guilty when we do that, though.

I wonder if they changed the movie. The one I remember started out with someone pounding something with a hammer and spent a huge amount of time showing oil platforms. I don't remember the kid and the ship at all.

Over all, I like the pavillion (and yes, I am very fond of smoked fish), I just don't like the movie.

I've gone 5 times and I've never seen it one time.

We skipped the movie and went to Mission:Space (well, hubby got on the ride).

We skip it every time after the ride. We just wait for the doors to open and then cross all the way through and exit with the group in front of us.

We saw it a couple of times. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ:confused:

It was okay the first couple of times, but I wish you didn't have to wait for it to finish when you get off the Maelstrom

We always walk right through. We did see it once though.

No comment on the film but the chairs in the theater are pretty cool.

I'll probably be banned from the DIS forever for this but doesn't that really sum up the whole of WDW?
