Do you like flying?

No, I take anti-anxiety medicine before boarding the plane. Xanax works like a charm.

I love take offs, the bit in the middle is okay, so long as there is some land to look down on, as the long flights can get boring.
Not too keen on landings especially when we are coming down through the bumpy clouds!

I've been on loads of flights and I still get excited just before take off - so yes, I love to fly! :hyper:

I fly a lot but I hate it. I get really bad anxiety attacks in airports, so therefore when I board it gets worse. I usually throw up on the plane, get sweaty, and very light headed. I wish it wouldn't happened because it's no fun at all when that happens! :(

I don't mind flying, but I also don't mind driving. Obviously, if there is limited time, flying is the best option. In January, we went to Flroida and visited my DSIL, friends and then 3 days at WDW. We flew to Orlando and then drove to the east coast for 3 days wit DSIL, then across to the west coast near Tampa for 2 days with friends, then halfway back across to the middle to WDW. That was a fun trip!

I love flying - I wish we did it more often.

Don't get me wrong, I do like driving for trips - I love the scenery going into new places and such, but flying is just awesome in my opinion.

DH could do without it - so I tend to have to coax him to fly for trips, which I was able to do for our upcoming trip!

I love flying - don't get to do it often enough! I even enjoy a little mild turbulence... makes it more like a rollercoaster ride. The view up there is just incredible. I love flying when it's raining at ground level, but you pass up through the clouds and it's beautiful and sunny up above them, with that wonderful floor of clouds below you. I love to get the aerial perspective of the cities I know - everything looks so cool. I swear, I'd stick my head out the window like I dog, if I could! I always get a crick in my neck from looking out the window the whole trip.

By the way, the taxiing part of takeoff (from the moment acceleration starts to the moment of liftoff) feels just like driving a racecar. The g-forces are great!!

I don't mind flying, it's the cramped feeling I don't like. I always hope no one will sit in that middle seat. :p

I think take offs and landings are fun (except when they're aborted  - I've been on one plane that aborted it's take off, and one that aborted it's landing - both of those were VERY unnerving) but the actual flying gets old after about an hour for me.

Pretty funny, Nebsky! hahaha

Thank you...Thank you. Ill be here all week, the Friday night show is a little blue......Be sure to tip your waiters/waitresses..

I work for an airline so I love to fly. My dad worked for the same Airline and I grew up flying. Back in school, parents use to reward us with trips if we got good grades. Flew first class to LAX from Washington DC to go to Disneyland several times.

I prefer to fly to get there quicker, but I love a good road trip...

I do enjoy flying. Flying is relaxing for me also. Given a choice between a 2 hour flight to WDW or a 16-17 hour drive, it goes without question that the flight wins.

Who else likes to fly?

I enjoy flying too. I really like traveling period. Always an adventure!

I have only flown twice and i'm flying again in October. I prefer to drive but i'm only going for four days. Weeks before my flight i will have nightmears. Even though flying terrifies me I get a rush out of take-off:teeth: . Hopefully this flight will be a easy one. Susan

I don't enjoy flying, but I also get a bit of a buzz from take-off. What's up with that?

People often tell me it gets easier the more you do it, but I haven't found that to be the case, either.

I used to have lots of bad dreams about watching planes crash, or being on a plane that was going to crash, but mercifully, those dreams have stopped.

I don't particularly enjoy flying... most of the time it is just cheaper and easier than driving so I do it.

I would love to be able to drive to Florida - it's just the wet bit in the middle that means we can't.
Flying brings together a whole bunch of things that I'm not keen on: height, claustrophobia, crowds and cognitive dissonance (when your ears telling you you're bobbing up and down but your eyes can only see the cabin which is moving just as you are. Hence motion sickness.)
I remember flying out of Rome in a storm: the plane had a display that told you how high you were - and those numbers kept dropping, as we did. I would rather not have known!
So, no, I don't really like flying.:worried:
But I can cope once the first gin and tonic has arrived! (Can't do that when you're driving!) :drinking:

I don't like it, but I'm not as afraid as I used to be. I always swore I would never fly. Well when your job tells you that you have to you don't have a choice. I took 5 trips within 3 months - so that helped me overcome my fear. Now I will fly if I need to.

Hate it Hate Hate it.... but with lots of adavan its not too bad. I just returned from China and had 5 (count em 5) different plane rides.

Drugs they're a good thing
