Do you like classical music & opera?

Classical music, yes. Opera, no. Listening to a soprano is like nails on a chalkboard.

I enjoy both very much. Took my daughter to her first opera when she was a freshman in high school, she did NOT want to go so I told her it had three acts, and if she wanted to leave after the first act we would.

First act is over, I ask if she'd like to leave, and in typical teen style she said, "I guess we can stay", which in teen speak means, I kinda like it lol. Second act end and I again ask her, she gives me the same answer. She ended up liking opera a lot, as do many in my family.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the balcony singers in Italy during this pandemic.

I love many classical pieces. I'm not a huge fan of opera. I don't even like musicals where the dialogue is sung instead of distinct songs. I am a huge fan of ballet! One of the great moments of my life was sitting in the third row center watching Baryshnikov perform.
