And I thought I was the only one who shared silverware with my pet! I usually have a bowl of imitation Frosted MiniWheats (gotta love cheap Quaker bagged cereals yum! ) and I will give Rumpleteazer a spoonful or two of milk (cuz I know milk isn't good for kitties..no matter what anyone tells you) and go right back to eating the cereal from the SAME spoon. It doesn't bother me at all.
But I can see why someone WOULD be bothered by a person sharing a spoon/fork/whatever with their pet.
Sure do! Jasmine loves to give kitty kisses... and Max (our Schnauzer) gets kisses on the top of his head all the time. Our other cat, Tiger, isn't into kitty kisses at all. She prefers a dignified head scratch... when SHE wants it, of course.
Yuck no way. Even if I just kiss her head, I would have tons of dog fur on my mouth. I give her hugs though and she does hug back.
She knows it and when she licks my hand, it's just tiny licks. My dog is a lab mix, her tongue is a foot long.
But one time she was feeling playful and jumped across my lap on the couch. Instead of walking the rest of the way across me, she stood over me and gave me a kiss. She started at the base of my neck and went up. Luckily I turned away fast enough she didn't get my face. But she was so pleased with herself.
