Do you keep your house keys and your car keys on the same keychain?

I'm thinking about seperating mine. We got a new car and the key fob is HUGE!

Ducklite, what's a carabiner? I tried looking it up in a dictionary and I doubt you're talking about an Italian policeman!

I keep all my keys on one ring, but all I have is my car key/fob, house key and mailbox key. I used to have one office key, too. I've heard of the weight on the ignition thing, but the weight of my 2 or 3 other keys combined is less than the weight of the key fob attached to my car key already, so I'm not worried about it.

Dh keeps his house/office/mailbox keys separate from his car keys, but I'm not sure why. We've never really talked about it.

Oh, and these are carabiners.

I keep my car and house keys all on one keychain. I'd be lost if I had to remember to carry two. I have just one car key and one house key so my keychain weighs very little. If I bring my car to the shop, I always give them my spare key or I take my car key off the ring. They seem like nice guys but I don't trust them that much.

All of mine are on one key ring and all of DH's are too. I've been driving for over 35 years and never had a problem.

No because I don't want to be locked out of my house and my car at the same time.:)

Goodness, I would never remember to grab two sets of keys. I barely make it out of the house as it is. I do have my school keys on a separate key ring, but that's mostly because I lose those more often than my house set and don't want to be locked out of everything all at once.

One keychain that has one housekey, one gate key, one car door key, one ignition key, and one theft-deterrant device key.

I have another keychain with my studio pass and office keys, but that's because I need the pass to drive in and out of the studio gate. I can't have the car running and use the pass at the same time if they are on the same chain! :confused3
