Do you keep track of the game?

I have a VMK notebook. I tend to be anal about certian things and VMK fits under that blanket.

I have a part for my active mules where I keep my totals and I change it daily. That helps during events so I can plan what character buys what.

I started keeping an inventory of my hot trade items. I have costumes, ears, pins and certian quest stuff. I once made a mistake and offered in a room to trade something I didn't have. Sometimes with all the stuff I have it can be difficult to find something so I quick glance at my inventory list and I can tell if I have something to trade.

I have a list of cheaters and bad traders. I have a list of people that were really rude or mean to me with word or two, that way I know not to ask these peopel to trave and juse avoid them. I started this because there are so many similar names and it was getting confusing. I have what I call the wackos on it too.

I jot down notes is a friend is looking for a certian rare item and if I see it I can try to trade for it or find them and get them to the person that it reading.

I always have pages of codes from the pirate game. Sometime especially during an event a mule needs a little more credit for an item and I an quickly enter a few codes to get them to where they need to be.

My goodness, why do you always come up with the smartess things? Bravo lisa!

Lol thats why they must call you "always" Princess!

wow. i am very impressed!

the most i really do right now is set goals. i set daily or weekly goals for how many credits i want to earn. i currently only have 2 mules, but when i go down to DL next month i want to make a few more. (i like making them in the park because then i have mickey ears to trade if desired!)

but thats about all i do. i am trying to save up a lot so i can pick up a lot of whatever the next costume is and not just for my buddies on line! (lol, i got 6 cowboy outfits last time, only 2 were for me!)

I just recently started keeping track of trades that I have made with other people mainly because someone wanted to "trade back" a fireworks for teleportation. Only problem was that I did not get the teleportation from that individual at all. I knew exactly who had been kind enough to trade one of their teleportation magics to me so I knew that this person was trying to pull a fast one. I did mention this to them and they quickly disappeared.

I have also had to keep track of the mules and which ones have earned what because it was getting difficult trying to remember which mules had already earned the fireworks magic and tent room codes.

Keeping a list of items is a great idea, I think I will have to try that. It might be easier than trying to scroll through everything only to find I no longer have a certain item. Great idea!!!

LOL! How cool! I'm sure that list is a great idea, especially if you're
juggling mules. (Did that sound as funny as I think it did?)

Ooh! Can I be added to your wackos list? ;)

You are far too nice for the Wackos list! That is for the people that you want to run from when you enter a room and see them, kind of like in real life :rotfl:

Lisa, That's a great system. I know it's hard to keep track of your mules, I have 5 plus my main and secondary, my husbands main and secondary and both girls have one each.

the most I keep track of is the main characters for myself, husband, younger daughter and younger son. And the two mules dh and I have- my older two track themselves.

But the list lets dh know who to go on first thing in the morning to get credits- and then I do the same later-

I should probably track which ones he has earned stuff with on games though so he can keep track of that too-

I've only been playing a few weeks- and I'm already painfully addicted- lol

I started keeping track of stuff, but everything is so fluid. Trades are made and items are added and deleted. I finally decided to just go with the flow. All my characters have different things and need different things, but I don't bother to keep track much now.
The only things I do keep track of is pending trades, so I know who and what I am trading for each trade. I'll also make a note if I run in to a nice 'guest' that maybe I've helped, or if they have had a nice conversation with me. That way I have a notation that guest 12345 is a nice person and to leave them on my list. Sometimes, I even remember to figure out their new name, but oops, not always.

I just wish there was a way to inventory the pins and furniture in our little VMK stuff windows. I took a long time once to put the pins in order (wear, take off ... wear, take off) so they were organized. But, VMK rearranges them just like the furniture in my room gets rearranged. There must be little VMK elves.
