Well, if they were used, they REALLY would have sent those guys running! Sounds like a very effective theft deterrent!

I've heard of people attaching what looks like a used diaper to their stroller to discourage someone from stealing their stroller in theme parks. Maybe we could somehow impregnant a tampon (pun intended) with fake blood and put it in the glove compartment. You know, if I've thought about it you know darned well someone has done it before. YUCKOLA!

currently...unused feminine products (best not to be caught off guard...plus I hear it is a good thief deterent), a plastic hulk head halloween bucket from last year, one Ken (of Barbie & Ken fame) brown flip flop, assorted fast food wrappers, ya know...the usual suspects

I first read this as, "Do you keep something strange in your cat?" I thought it would be strange to keep anything in my cat!

I never take anything out of my car, so anything I've ever put in there is still in there today. (Except the kids. I'm pretty good about getting them out.) I have a swim suit, dog food, the dog's leash, about a million extra outfits for the kids-most of which they've grown out of, and a phone book.

Having 4 horses on our property and worried about passing them on the road after they have escaped, I always keep a lead rope in my car - in case I come across a loose horse. And, yes, I have actually used it (but for someone else's horse, not ours!). Also useful for loose dogs.

Not strange but I keep one of those mini salt/pepper shakers from Tupperware in my glovebox. I hate the drive thru's not putting salt on my fries.

I keep the extra packets of salt from McD's in the car. I agree - just can't eat those fries if they don't have salt.
