Do you have to put your bags in the hall on the last night?

If you don't have much luggage, can you carry it off yourself in the morning?

You can do this, however, you will have to carry it all to breakfast with you as well. Far too difficult for me as my carry on's and souvenir bags are more than what I can handle myself, lol.

Carol Ann is correct--you can carry it yourself but remember that you will have to tote it to breakfast and then off the ship. With only a couple of bags this wouldn't be too bad--but with all of our luggage and souveniers it would be a nightmare for me!

yes you can carry off your own luggage, we have been on 4 cruises and have always carried off our own luggage.
If you have the early breakfast sitting you can just leave it in your room and go back and get it. If you have to take it to the dining room it is not that big a deal, because you can just park it somewhere out of the way while you eat.
We have never had a problem carrying our own luggage off.

Just in case the OP doesn't know, you don't have to eat breakfast in the formal dining room on your last day; you can eat at Topsider's/Beach Blanket Buffet. We left our stuff in our room and ate at the buffet, went back to our room for a bit, then left the ship. :D

I did the same thing. We had late seating and chose to eat at BBB. We left our bags in our cabin, ate from 7:15-7:45, went back to the cabin to "freshen up" and retrieve our bags, and walked off the ship at 7:55 (and didn't have to stop to search for our luggage). I never was comfortable with leaving my bags outside the night before-that's just me and my anal/obsessive/compulsive/neurotic self.

We have done both and I really prefer putting the luggage out the night before. You certainly can take it with you in the morning, but its best to go to breakfast first if you have early breakfast, then go back and get your luggage. It is really difficult to get around the dining rooms with everyone's carry-on and packages. If people brought their luggage as well, it would be almost impossible to get around. IMHO
