Do you have to give a Credit Card number when making dining reservations? Or is that just for the Cinderella's breakfast reservation?

Are there some that do and some that don't? If only some need the number, can anyone tell me which ones do?

Thanks!

I made plenty of priority seating reservations for our trip this Easter week. The only time they asked for our credit card information was for holiday (Easter Sunday) and the Hoop Dee Doo Review. I didn't try to book Cinderella's Castle for the breakfast thing. So I can't help with that. Maybe someone else can answer about Cinderella's.

I know that Cindy's takes a deposit on a credit card $10.00/adult and $5.00/child. (I am pretty sure that is the price) Also the princess storybook breakfast at EPCOT has started to take deposits also. The deposit might be the same as Cindy's. I also know that if you book a Fantasmic Dinner Package that they put a hold on your credit card. Those are the only ones that I know of.

I just made a reservation at the California Grill and they didn't ask for a card.

I think they mainly ask for deposits on very-hard-to-get seatings -- Cinderella, holidays, etc. This is to discourage scalpers.
